Brilliant Earth Named AIDI’s 2025 Most Sustainable Diamond Jewelry Brand
Brilliant Earth (Nasdaq: BRLT) was named the #1 Most Sustainable Jewelry Brand in AIDI’s 2025 rankings, earning top spots for engagement rings and colored-gem mixes and ranking #6 in global diamond sustainability.

Brilliant Earth Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: BRLT) was named the #1 Most Sustainable Jewelry Brand in the 2025 AIDI Sustainable Jewelry Rankings, an honor announced Feb. 18, 2026. AIDI also placed the company at #1 for engagement rings, #1 for colored gem mix products, #2 for men’s jewelry, and ranked Brilliant Earth #6 in its 2025 Global Sustainable Diamond Rankings.
AIDI — the Association of Intelligent Diamond International — is described as an independent global membership organization focused on advancing standards in lab-grown diamonds and responsible jewelry. Its 2025 evaluation assessed environmental impact, labor practices, supply chain transparency, circularity, and public reporting across the full diamond value chain, a methodology AIDI and reporting outlets characterized as data-based and comprehensive.
The organization cited specific company practices in awarding Brilliant Earth the top brand slot. AIDI noted the brand’s long-standing leadership in ethical sourcing, use of repurposed gold and silver, blockchain-enabled traceability, customizable designs, and “ambitious climate goals, including validated net-zero targets.” Reporting also highlighted collections that combine traceable diamonds, repurposed precious metals, and responsibly sourced gemstones alongside ongoing investments in transparency and public sustainability reporting.
Brilliant Earth’s corporate profile anchors those sustainability claims in measurable business facts. Founded in 2005, the company reported 2024 full-year net sales of $422 million and has publicly reported positive adjusted EBITDA since its 2021 initial public offering; Investors cited that figure as 16 consecutive quarters of positive adjusted EBITDA. Sources differ on the company’s showroom footprint and headquarters: Prism MarketView and the company’s investor materials list 42 U.S. showrooms and San Francisco headquarters, while a Pure Earth profile lists 22 showrooms and references both San Francisco, CA and Denver, CO as offices. All sources state Brilliant Earth has served customers in more than 50 countries.
Sustainability initiatives cited in the coverage extend beyond sourcing. Brilliant Earth launched a second limited-edition collection with Dr. Jane Goodall on Sept. 23, 2025, framed as a collaboration of artistry and conservation. Earlier partnership work includes the Green Mining project developed with Pure Earth and the Alliance for Responsible Mining, announced Oct. 25, 2022, which aims to create a Fairmined ecological gold supply chain in the Peruvian Amazon. Pure Earth president Richard Fuller said, “We believe the jewelry industry holds the key to solving this problem,” and urged responsible jewelers such as Brilliant Earth to help scale mercury-free mining.
Analyst commentary ties the recognition to commercial positioning. Prism MarketView observed, “That financial consistency complements its sustainability leadership. As sustainability increasingly shapes purchasing decisions and capital allocation, Brilliant Earth stands well positioned to capture incremental demand and drive shareholder value.” Prism also reiterated the company’s 2024 sales figure and showroom count in its analysis.
Brilliant Earth says it will continue expanding traceability, increasing use of repurposed precious metals, advancing public sustainability reporting and third-party certifications, and supporting community work through the Brilliant Earth Foundation; the company directs readers to its online mission materials for published goals and metrics. The AIDI rankings cement a measurable benchmark: provenance, traceability, and validated climate targets now sit at the center of how this digitally native jeweler defines value.
