Casselberry Hosts Free Spring Jazz and Art Festival March 7
Free lakefront jazz featuring Marion Meadows and Steve Oliver drew listeners to Lake Concord Park, with Rob Zinn listed as the 6 p.m. opening act for a one-hour set.

Casselberry’s Spring Jazz & Art Festival brought a free, lakefront evening of contemporary jazz to Lake Concord Park at 95 Triplet Lake Drive, behind City Hall, on Saturday, March 7, featuring co-headliners Marion Meadows and Steve Oliver during a 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. program organized by the City of Casselberry.
City of Casselberry social posts named Rob Zinn as the opening act, scheduled to hit the stage at 6:00 p.m. and play for one hour. The city’s event page and Facebook post confirmed the overall 6–9 p.m. timing while listing Meadows and Oliver as the festival’s co-headliners; no official set times were published for the headliners beyond the festival window.
According to JazzBluesFlorida, saxophonist Marion Meadows began studying classical clarinet at age nine and has built a career spanning more than four decades, with more than ten albums to his credit. JazzBluesFlorida noted recent performances have featured music from Soul Traveler, described as the first installment in Meadows’ ongoing soul trilogy, underlining the promotional profile that accompanied his appearance in Casselberry.
The Sanford Herald’s coverage outlined Steve Oliver’s catalog and chart history, noting Oliver’s latest release, A New Light, "has been climbing the jazz charts." The Herald and other listings credit Oliver with producing fourteen studio albums, earning multiple No. 1 Billboard hits and more than a dozen Top 10 favorites, and receiving a Best New Artist award from Smooth Jazz News for his debut era around the record First View.

Beyond the stage, festival materials described art exhibits throughout Casselberry’s art facilities, a lineup of food trucks, and a range of product vendors and local art organizations contributing to a broader community festival atmosphere. The City of Casselberry’s event copy urged attendees to "Bring blankets and chairs, and enjoy a lakefront evening of outstanding live jazz in Casselberry, Florida," and reiterated that "This event is FREE and open to the public."
Logistics for the event were managed through city channels: parking was available at Casselberry City Hall, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, and surrounding businesses, with ADA parking provided at the former site of the Casselberry Police Department on 17-92. The city’s event page offered an iCal export for calendar planning. For follow-up or media inquiries, the City of Casselberry events team can be reached at events@casselberry.org or by phone at (407) 262-7700, ext. 1507.
The free Spring Jazz & Art Festival reinforced the city’s role as organizer of public cultural programming, pairing nationally known jazz performers with local arts organizations in a family-friendly evening at Lake Concord Park.
