Clarendon-born Mystic Warrior Releases New Single Leader, Eyes International Bookings
Clarendon-born Mystic Warrior drops "Leader", a reggae-hip hop call to action, and is eyeing bookings across Europe, Canada, the Caribbean, the United States and Africa.

Clarendon-born Mystic Warrior has released the single "Leader", a reggae-hip hop fusion track he positions as an urgent call to action for young people and a springboard for international bookings across Europe, Canada, the Caribbean, the United States and Africa. The release frames the singer as pushing a contemporary reggae hip hop sound while pursuing wider exposure.
The release was announced by Jamaica Observer with a KINGSTON, Jamaica dateline, which described "Leader" as aimed at inspiring young people, particularly young men, and noted Mystic Warrior's "expressive delivery and soulful tone" on a song that explores the pressures, uncertainties and emotional realities faced by men today. The paper framed the single as the leading edge of a larger project, a 10-track album scheduled for release late this year.
Mystic Warrior spoke directly about his motivation for the track. "I was motivated to do this song Leader to inspire the youth with a positive message. I see myself as a leader, and I want young people to find that same strength in themselves," he said. He clarified the song's intended audience and message: "The song is meant to inspire young people, especially young men, to lead their own lives, make smart choices, stay true to themselves and to recognise that they can all be leaders in their own way,"
Production credits on the forthcoming 10-track project are largely handled by ShellaTopstar, who produced, mixed and mastered most of the tracks. Mystic Warrior releases the material under his own imprint, Lee Benjamin Recordz Ltd., positioning "Leader" as the lead single for the album campaign slated for late this year.
On promotion and reception, Mystic Warrior reported radio uptake and positive listener response. "Radio stations here and abroad are playing the song, and people are really connecting with it…it’s all positive energy and good vibes," he said. The Jamaica Observer piece and accompanying coverage list radio outlets The Edge 105 FM Radio and Fyah 105 FM among named sources, and the article noted that dancehall fans have responded well to Mystic Warrior's flow and energy.
Mystic Warrior originally hails from Clarendon and has been in the industry for a decade. His back catalogue includes Mastermind, Dem a Rush and True Love. Online metadata recorded on Last.fm shows a LEADER track entry and lists another Mystic Warrior item, One Foot Forward, with 1 listener in the Last.fm snippet captured in the coverage.
With airplay reportedly ongoing and a producer like ShellaTopstar attached, Mystic Warrior's immediate focus is touring and bookings in Europe, Canada, the Caribbean, the United States and Africa while building toward the 10-track album release late this year. The single "Leader" functions as both a message piece for young listeners and a commercial push for the Clarendon-born artiste as he seeks to expand beyond the local scene.
