Hall 1 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, is hosting the second edition of DJGF Signature 2026 from 28 February to 2 March, organised by Informa Markets in India and positioned as North India’s early-season sourcing platform. Theicelane projects the Signature edition will feature over 150 exhibitors, 400+ premium brands and upwards of 7,000 trade visitors across more than 1 lakh sq. ft. of exhibition space, all on a strictly B2B footing.

Organisers have laid out a programme that blends sourcing with industry content. EVENTFAQS India describes the schedule this way: “Beyond sourcing, DJGF Signature 2026 will feature exclusive product showcases, signature launches and dedicated product zones designed to provide early access to new collections. Curated B2B matchmaking sessions and structured hosted buyer meetings are also planned to facilitate business engagement.” The knowledge calendar includes more than 10 conference sessions, live podcast interactions and trend presentations led by industry leaders and experts.

Product zones are deliberately specific. The show lists Gold, mined Diamonds, Lab-Grown Diamonds, Polki and Jadau, Silver and jewellery technology among its categories, and Theicelane highlights a dedicated Lab-Grown Diamond section. Theicelane frames LGDs as moving into “Daily Luxury” and notes: “Retailers are aggressively sourcing 3-Carat Solitaires and statement pieces that offer premium shine at affordable prices for the modern consumer.” Polki and jadau appear under a “Modern Heritage” umbrella, flagged by editorial features such as “Top 5 Polki Trends to Watch.”

Practical trade facilitation factors into the floor plan. EVENTFAQS India notes the event is “positioned as ‘Delhi Ka Signature Show’” and the organisers emphasise timing to give retailers a first-mover advantage ahead of Akshaya Tritiya, the wedding season and festive buying cycles. Entry is strictly B2B; Theicelane specifies that visitors must provide a valid GST Certificate, company visiting card and government-issued Photo ID, and EVENTFAQS includes the logistical line: “A password will be e-mailed to you.”

Speakers on opening day situated the fair within a larger market narrative. Delegates cited a domestic jewellery market currently valued at roughly $85–90 billion with projections extending to $130–150 billion by 2030. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said, “with the domestic jewellery market projected to expand to $130 billion by 2030, the sector is entering a phase of structured growth driven by festive demand, bridal purchasing, and increasing formalisation.” Ram Avtar Verma, President, The Bullion and Jewellers Association Delhi, said, “’DJGF Signature 2026’ truly reflects how far our industry has come. ‘The sheer scale, participation, and energy at this edition are remarkable,’ he added.” Avinash Gupta, Vice Chairman, All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council, said, “the participation from exhibitors and buyers reflects not just strong business sentiment, but also the growing maturity of our gem and jewellery ecosystem. ‘Today, the jewellery industry operates in a new normal: gold premiums hovering around 3 per cent and silver nearly 5 per cent have become standard, while tighter inventory cycles and frequent B2B exhibitions every 8–15 days allow us to manage procurement with lower risk and greater efficiency,’ he said.”

Organiser marketing places the Signature edition within a broader DJGF platform. The DJGF promotional site cites larger brand metrics of 600+ exhibitors, 1,200+ brands and 25,000+ expected trade visitors for the wider DJGF umbrella and describes the platform as engaging with sustainability, awards and initiatives like SHAKTI, even calling out “India’s $28.5 billion jewellery industry” in its copy. That promotional framing is useful for context, but the Signature edition’s exhibitor and visitor projections come from Theicelane and EVENTFAQS listings and should be checked against exhibitor lists and organiser releases for procurement decisions.

Sustainability and provenance appear on panels, yet event copy and exhibitor listings do not enumerate certification standards or chain-of-custody criteria for lab-grown or mined stones. Retailers and buyers seeking verified eco credentials or traceability should confirm certifications and supplier documentation directly with exhibiting brands and hosted buyers on the floor.

As the fair continues through 2 March, it aims to convert trend conversations into orders: curated zones for LGDs, Polki, jadau and jewellery technology sit alongside structured matchmaking intended to speed inventory decisions ahead of Akshaya Tritiya and the peak wedding calendar.
