Northcarolinafc’s stadium information for First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park lays out matchday logistics for North Carolina Courage home games, including a firm recommendation that fans arrive ninety minutes prior to kick-off for regular season contests. The stadium address is 101 Soccer Park Drive, Cary, NC 27511, and the facility is located off E. Chatham St. in western Cary.
WakeMed Soccer Park is the Town of Cary’s 158-acre state-of-the-art facility renowned for hosting premier soccer events at all levels. Since 2004, it has evolved into a central hub for professional, collegiate, and community soccer and supports a wide range of events, from international tournaments to local festivals, as well as sports from high school football to polo. The campus includes a 10,000-seat stadium now titled First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park under a multiyear naming-rights partnership.
The North Carolina Courage call First Horizon Stadium home. Competing in their eighth season of competition in 2024, the Courage began play in the National Women’s Soccer League in 2017 after Steve Malik purchased the Western New York Flash and relocated the franchise to Cary. The club lists seven league trophies and describes itself as the “winningest club in NWSL history,” with NWSL Shield wins in 2017, 2018 and 2019, NWSL Championships in 2018 and 2019, UKG NWSL Challenge Cup titles in 2022 and 2023, and the 2018 ICC Championship among its honors. First Horizon Bank became the Courage’s first official banking partner in 2024, and “this multiyear partnership officially titles the Courage home as First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park.” The naming rights are exclusive to the stadium, while WakeMed retains sole naming rights to the wider park.
Seating at WakeMed Soccer Park is assigned by number and the stadium “offers eight different types of seating options” including Owner’s Suite, Field level, Manager’s Row, Premier Midfield, East Midfield, Lower Level Sideline, Supporters, and South & North Stand. The venue “offers three types of seating that are available to every fan.” North Stand seats are located in the North endzone and are bleacher seating; lower level sideline seats occupy the East side and sections 101, 102, 109 and 110 with molded seating; premier midfield seating is on the West side in sections 103 through 108 and provides seating with a back.

Operational details for matchdays include VIP parking locations and re-entry procedures. “The VIP parking is located on the north side of the stadium. The VIP C lot is located on the East side of the stadium. VIP pass holders should enter the West entrance off Chatham Street and follow the signs for VIP parking.” Under certain circumstances patrons may leave and return to the stadium; to re-enter, fans must see a staff member at the main gate to receive a hand stamp and present that stamp along with their ticket, and “all patrons who return to the game are subject to additional screening measures.” WakeMed Soccer Park is a non-smoking facility and therefore no smoking is allowed in the stadium.
Individual tickets can be purchased through the Box Office at (919) 459-8144 or online. The stadium also hosts North Carolina FC of the USL Championship and various collegiate and high school events, including the NCAA Division I College Cup, making the venue a year-round hub for regional sports and community events.
