Goochland BOS Budget Session Feb. 17, 6 PM; County Posts Official Agenda

The Goochland County Board of Supervisors will hold a budget session Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 6:00 PM in the administration building, and the original report noted, "Official agenda posted by county government account." At the state level, the State House News Service reported Feb. 13 that "Any momentum the legislative session might have gained this year will likely stall out for a few days as lawmakers over the years have taken their foot off the gas during school vacation weeks." The same report said, "The committee hasn't finalized its hearing schedule but a working document points to the resumption of hearings on March 9," and noted that "House Democrats are working behind the scenes on major energy affordability and immigration bills and a conference committee charged with coming up with a single cannabis reform bill."
