GTA VI Title IDs Added to PlayStation Database, Pre-orders Likely
Two GTA VI title IDs, PPSA01547_00 and PPSA29660_00, were added to Sony’s PlayStation database, PlayStation Game Size reported March 1, 2026, and pre-orders may follow soon.

PlayStation Game Size reported on March 1, 2026 that two Grand Theft Auto VI title IDs have been added to Sony’s PlayStation Store database: PPSA01547_00 and PPSA29660_00. “Grand Theft Auto VI title IDs have been added to the PlayStation database,” the dataminer wrote, and added, “I expect we’ll see something about the game soon, probably the start of pre-orders.”
Title IDs are not wallpaper text; they are internal identifiers used to organize games by region, edition, and distribution format within Sony’s ecosystem. The IDs appearing in the storefront backend means, in practical terms, “their addition to the database means that someone at Take-Two Interactive or Rockstar has pushed the data required for Sony to start preparing the storefront infrastructure,” a technical reading reproduced from coverage of the discovery.
The presence of two IDs has raised technical questions among players and dataminers. “No one's entirely sure why there are two IDs, although PlayStation Game Size assured players it's 'normal,' and may be due to 'different regions,' as 'all editions will use the same title ID,'” a quoted explanation notes. That dual-ID pattern is consistent with PlayStation Store workflows where region or format variants generate separate entries while editions remain mapped to a single public SKU.
Industry precedent and platform behavior are sharpening expectations. Multiple outlets picked up the dataminer’s post, and pundit summaries framed the database update as an early step toward a public store listing. TweakTown summed the industry practice bluntly: “This is typically the first step before pre-orders for the title are made public, and the price is revealed.” At the same time, the dataminer’s own caveat about publisher timing was reported: “To be honest, it completely depends on the publisher, and it's not something I know for sure. But I don't think there's going to be a long wait.”
The discovery also produced a usable glitch for players. Gtaboom noted “The exploit is straightforward,” and players used the new IDs to trick PlayStation into showing GTA VI in “Recently Played” lists. IGN published a PSN profile example under the username Ousora1 showing the effect, and Gtaboom reported the same trick appears to work through the Xbox app as well. These interactions indicate the IDs are integrated deeply enough into PSN systems to be visible in profile metadata even before an official storefront card goes live.

PlayStation Game Size has a track record on this kind of find. The account previously flagged a placeholder date for God of War Ragnarok entered into the PS Store on September 30, 2022 that preceded the actual November 11, 2022 release, and it has earlier discoveries such as a native Kingdom Come: Deliverance PS5 listing. Outlets translated that pedigree into a credibility metric; one assessment gave the GTA VI finding a “75% Probable” rating and noted “Source 4/5 / Corroboration 3/5 / Technical 4/5 / Timeline 4/5.”
Rumors and calendar talk have already followed. TweakTown flagged a recent storefront listing that showed a $120 price and cautioned that “a digital storefront recently listed GTA 6 at a price of $120... that price is more than likely a placeholder.” Fans are also pointing to an unconfirmed target date; coverage cited fan hopes that Rockstar will confirm November 19, 2026, with the observation that “The fact that Rockstar Games has started doing preparatory work on Grand Theft Auto VI's store page will undoubtedly reinvigorate the hopes of fans, who are eager to see the studio confirm the November 19, 2026 date.” One outlet pointed to a precedent: “The last time this happened with Red Dead Redemption 2, pre-orders became available two weeks after.”
No official confirmation from Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or Sony/PlayStation has been published alongside the dataminer’s post. Verification items remain clear: confirm whether PPSA01547_00 and PPSA29660_00 map to GTA VI, whether a public pre-order page and pricing will be activated, and whether the two-ID setup reflects regions or editions. Until Rockstar, Take-Two, or Sony/PlayStation comment, treat the title-ID addition as a strong technical indicator and a likely preparatory step toward a storefront announcement, but not a guarantee of immediate pre-order availability.
