HK International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show 2026 preview highlights pearl pavilions
Pearls are the headline at the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show, with a dedicated Treasures of Ocean/pearls pavilion as the twin shows land at AsiaWorld-Expo and HKCEC, 4–8 March 2026.

Pearls will be a declared focus at the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show as organisers stage a Treasures of Ocean/pearls pavilion within the Twin Jewellery Shows. The event is scheduled across two venues - 4 March - 8 March 2026 - AsiaWorld Expo Center (AWE) / Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong - and its fair spotlights list explicitly names Diamond; Gemstone; Pearl; Laboratory-grown Diamond; Synthetic Gemstone.
The HKTDC frames the show as a global sourcing marketplace where exhibitors “enjoy front-row access to the industry’s top buyers” and where a “captivating line-up of events, trend forecasts, seminars, buyer forums and jewellery parades” supports networking and trade. That positioning underpins national and thematic pavilions, with pearl programming set to anchor a portion of the floor plan reserved for marine-sourced gems and cultured-pearl supply chains.
National presentation is visible in the German Pavilion, promoted under the banner “German Pavilion @ HKTDC Hong Kong Int. Diamond, Gem & Pearl + Jewellery Show 2026.” The pavilion copy lists three concrete counts: “Get a list of all 19 German companies of this German Pavilion,” “Find 25 products and services ‘made in Germany’ at this trade fair,” and “Get in touch directly with the 11 contacts listed on this page.” The page further invites industry users to “Sign up now,” manage profiles and receive email notifications about exhibitors, underlining a curated, joint-stand strategy.

On-floor commerce and expectations are spelled out by exhibitors and buyers quoted in show materials. Carl Philip Arnoldi, CEO, HC Arnoldi e.K., said, “One of the show’s biggest advantages is its ability to attract manufacturers and buyers from around the globe. This year, we have higher expectations for our booth compared to last year and anticipate a sales growth of 20%-50%. On the first day, we received many customers from the Middle East and Asia.” Kengo Kajita, President, Kajita Co Ltd, noted, “We have been participating in this show for more than 10 years. Compared to other international shows, this one serves as a gateway to the Chinese Mainland market. We are trying to achieve sales of around US$200,000 at each show. On the first day, we’ve made around 10 deals.” Buyers signalled six-figure intent: David Levy, President Owner, David Levy Diamond Inc., said, “This fair allows me to connect with manufacturers and supply chains. This fair provides everything I need, from sourcing to manufacturing and all related services. I expect to spend US$200,000 at the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show and at least US$250,000 at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show.” Australian buyer Dee Bolton reported active matches and purchases: “We successfully matched with four businesses this time through HKTDC, from which we purchased colored stones from one of them. They are from the US, Madagascar, Hong Kong, and India. We spent US$$ 20,000 on one of the suppliers. I am sure we will collaborate with him in the long term.”
Practical notes in fair communications include a Fair News headline urging registration - “Twin Jewellery Shows 2026 - REGISTER and VERIFY Your eBadge Now!” - and press materials supplied to media conclude abruptly with the phrase “The preview not,” indicating placeholder copy remains in circulation. As exhibitors ready stands at AWE and HKCEC, the Treasures of Ocean pavilions will be the place to assess which pearl farms, nacre qualities and cultured types command the market’s attention when doors open in early March.
