INHORGENTA 2026 in Munich Spotlights Minimalist Jewelry Craftsmanship and Passion
More than 25,000 trade visitors from 94 countries attended INHORGENTA 2026 in Munich, where 900 exhibitors and 1,200 brands showcased a first-time guiding theme - Craftsmanship with 30+ live demos.

INHORGENTA 2026 in Munich closed as a showcase of artisanal technique and international trade. From February 20 to 23, 2026, more than 25,000 trade visitors from 94 countries passed through Messe München to see roughly 900 exhibitors presenting some 1,200 brands from 35 countries, 55 percent of them international, under a guiding theme titled Craftsmanship.
The organisers framed the theme as a strategic shift. Stefan Rummel, CEO of Messe München, said, "Inhorgenta has gained significant visibility and influence in recent years. We are continuously developing it, in terms of content, design and international reach. This year, we have established a guiding theme that will shape the years ahead: Craftsmanship, a tribute to the industry’s artisanal excellence and passion." Exhibition Director Stefanie Mändlein added, "With its focus on Craftsmanship, INHORGENTA is opening a new path, one of recognition and appreciation for artisanal work."
The fair deliberately turned halls into an open workshop. Messe München and Inhorgenta reported more than 30 stations where visitors could watch gemstone setting, engraving and watch assembly live and up-close. Insight Inhorgenta positioned the programming as a deliberate editorial effort, writing that "Craftsmanship stands for precision, passion, and the art of creating something lasting with skill and dedication" and framing the show as a space to explore "how tradition and innovation, hand and heart, precision and emotion are shaping a new aesthetic of luxury craftsmanship."
Product and category coverage reflected that emphasis. Insight named Patria von Tutima and Karandash von Alexander Shorokhoff among featured items, and highlighted GMA-P2126W-8A von G-Shock tied to World Women’s Day 2026. The organiser’s exhibition map listed Timepieces, Elegance & Lifestyle, Fine Jewelry, Carat, Wedding & Design, Technology/Packaging and Carat/Bijoux as the show areas where these pieces and demonstrations were concentrated.

Numbers underpinned the international profile. Professional Jeweller and WATCHPRO reported that 55 percent of exhibitors were international, and they listed the largest visitor delegations as Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, the UK, the Czech Republic and Belgium. The strongest growth in visitor numbers came from Sri Lanka, Sweden, Ukraine and the United States, while German visitor numbers declined slightly even as overall international participation increased.
An INHORGENTA AWARD gala took place during the fair, with Insight noting the ceremony on February 21, 2026 and Inhorgenta publishing a winners announcement on February 22, 2026; the supplied materials announce winners but do not list names or categories. Trade press coverage by Harriet Whitaker in Professional Jeweller and WATCHPRO ran the headline "Inhorgenta 2026 closes with record-breaking edition," language that organisers emphasised through the strong attendance and international reach but did not tie to a single named record.
Visitor feedback delivered solid ratings: the event achieved a customer satisfaction score of 80 points, with organisers and trade press citing top ratings in organisation, internationality and atmosphere. The Inhorgenta site already promotes the next edition for February 19–22, 2027, and the show's new focus on Craftsmanship aims to keep the spotlight on the artisanal practices - and the commercial ties they still generate - as the fair moves into the coming season.
