John Lewis has launched a 114-piece homeware collection created in collaboration with Danish artist Anine Cecilie Iversen, timed to land in stores and online at johnlewis.com in time for Mother’s Day. The exclusive artist collaboration spans rugs, lighting, tableware and giftable home items and carries sample prices from £9 for a water glass to £195 for a quilted bedspread.

The range covers textiles, cushions, bed linen, tableware and lighting, with specific pieces including Dahlia cushions and a John Lewis Zinnia Cushion, quilted bedspreads, rugs, lamps and lampshades, teacups and saucers, teapots, scalloped footed fruit bowls and smaller pieces such as makeup and toiletry bags. Idealhome, which previewed the John Lewis Spring and Summer show, noted Dahlia cushions priced at £50 and reported that the collection will eventually total 114 pieces but that only 42 are available right now.

John Lewis positioned the launch as an exclusive offer and Fionnuala Johnston, Design Manager of Home at John Lewis, described the aesthetic succinctly: “We’re delighted that Anine has collaborated with us to create this collection. The mix of modern florals and Scandinavian style, lends itself beautifully to this collection.” Emma Morton-Turner, who saw the range at the John Lewis Spring/Summer 2026 press show, called it a “cohesive range spanning rugs and cushions through to china” and said the pieces “felt thoughtful and well judged.”

Anine Cecilie Iversen brings a self-taught painter’s eye to the collaboration, drawing on childhood summers and an upbringing where her father, an art teacher, “introduced her to watercolours at a very early age.” Iversen said, “My childhood has inspired this collection, all my summer memories are reflected in these illustrations. My family home was surrounded by nature which I always found so calming, and inspiring. I’ve always had a passion for creating and expressing myself visually. This opportunity with John Lewis has enabled me to explore a way to transport my designs onto a different medium which has been a wonderful opportunity.” Licensing materials frame the palette and mood as “A Scandinavian Retro Summer Cottage” with “bright harmonious colours, classic patterns and beautiful details.”

The collaboration follows clear commercial momentum for the artist at John Lewis. The retailer reported “sales from the [La Poire] collection rising by 60% in comparison to last year,” a performance that helps explain the move to expand Iversen’s work into homewares. John Lewis announced the collection in late February 2026 and the staged rollout means shoppers will see new items added after the initial 42-piece tranche.

If you are shopping for Mother’s Day, the collection offers scaled options: the water glass at £9 or a toiletry bag for smaller gifts, a £50 Dahlia cushion for an immediate upgrade to a sofa, and the £195 quilted bedspread for a statement present. All pieces are sold in John Lewis stores and online at johnlewis.com as part of the retailer’s exclusive seasonal collaboration with Anine Cecilie Iversen.
