Karen Sue Kuntz of Fulda dies March 4; funeral, visitations scheduled

Karen Sue Kuntz, 68, of Fulda in the Perry County area, died March 4, 2026. Visitation is scheduled Wednesday, March 11 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Central Time at Becher Funeral Home, 625 Main Street, Ferdinand, and again Thursday, March 12 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM CT at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 15519 N State Road 545, Fulda. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, March 12 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM CT at St. Boniface, with burial to follow in the church cemetery, under the care of Becher Funeral Home.

Becher Funeral Home is handling arrangements and lists the visitation and service schedule on its notice. The funeral home gives the Ferdinand address for Wednesday’s visitation and the St. Boniface address for Thursday’s visitation and Mass; all times on the funeral listing are Central Time.

Kuntz was born March 11, 1957, in Tell City, Indiana, to Carl and Martha Flamion. She was united in marriage to Charles W. Kuntz on August 12, 1978, at Saint Isidore Catholic Church. She was an active member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fulda and worked for MasterBrand Cabinets before retiring in March 2022.

Survivors include daughters Andrea Dunn and her husband Chris of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Amy Freeman and her husband Cory of Corydon, Indiana; and son Adam Kuntz and his wife Stephanie of Ferdinand, Indiana. Grandchildren named in the notice are Marissa Freeman, Mason Freeman, Micah Freeman, Colton Kuntz, Gunner Kuntz, Jordan Mitchell and Tyler Mitchell. Siblings listed are Rita Hagman; Joseph Flamion; Michael Flamion; Eugene Flamion; Jane Seifert; Carla Cooper; and Joyce Schmitt.

The funeral notice reads: "Karen’s love for her family, her joyful presence, and her zest for life will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her." Becher Funeral Home, 625 Main Street, Ferdinand, is listed as the provider handling services and burial arrangements.
