Lenovo Unveils Creator-Focused AI Yoga Laptops and Concepts at MWC 2026
Lenovo brought a creator-first Yoga lineup to MWC 2026 in Barcelona, from a glasses-free Yoga Book Pro 3D to a Yoga Solar PC Concept that claims 20 minutes of sun gives an hour of playback.

Lenovo used Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to roll out a broad Yoga family refresh focused on on-device AI and creator workflows, unveiling new shipping laptops alongside ambitious concepts and a cross-device personal AI named Qira. The company showed the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition, the Yoga Pro 7a, the Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept, the Yoga Solar PC Concept, and a string of peripherals and prototypes designed to speed creative work on Windows.
Lenovo described Qira as a personal AI that runs at the operating system level and synchronizes data across PCs, tablets, smartphones and wearables, analyzing the context of a user’s work and suggesting next steps. Mashable reported that Qira will come to more than 20 devices with rollout starting in the coming weeks, positioning Qira as the continuity layer across Yoga devices and other Lenovo hardware.
The Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition was presented as a 14-inch convertible with a 2.8K OLED touchscreen, bundled Yoga Pen Gen 2, and Intel Core Ultra processors. Mashable’s hands-on noted an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chip, a slightly lighter design, more ports including a re-added headphone jack, and a magnetic pen case that enables a new Canvas mode. Pricing and timing conflict across outlets: Mezha Ua reported sales starting in March 2026 from €1,799, while Mashable listed availability starting in May for $1,949. Neowin labeled the model the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition Gen 11 and said that the new Yoga laptops qualify as Copilot+ PCs; Neowin also noted, "This also means that users will be greeted by two AI assistants when they power up one of these laptops for the first time."
For heavier creative work, Lenovo showed the Yoga Pro 7a, which Mezha Ua described as powered by AMD Ryzen AI Max+, supporting up to 128 GB of RAM and a 2.5K OLED display, with an expected availability in June 2026 starting at €2,499. Root-nation’s product list also references the Yoga Pro 7a with a literal notation of "(15", 11)".
Concept devices aimed directly at creators included the Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept, which combines dual Lenovo PureSight Pro Tandem OLED screens with a glasses-free 3D display; its upper panel converts 2D to 3D using AI and supports touchless gesture control for scaling and rotating models, aimed at designers and 3D content creators. Root-nation pointed to market momentum, saying the market for glasses-free 3D displays is expected to triple from 2025 to 2032.

Lenovo also displayed the Yoga Solar PC Concept, which Lenovo’s press copy claims can absorb enough direct sunlight in 20 minutes to power one hour of video playback and measures 15 mm thin at 1.22 kg, a release text that explicitly calls it "the world’s first ultraslim solar-powered PC." The provided Lenovo press copy containing that claim is dated March 3, 2025 in the materials distributed with the announcements, while external coverage ties the product to MWC 2026 in Barcelona, a discrepancy worth noting.
Gaming and peripheral concepts included the Legion Go Fold Concept, a foldable POLED handheld that opens from 7.7 to 11.6 inches, runs an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, and was shown with 32 GB of RAM and a 48 Wh battery, plus AI companion tabletop prototypes and a Yoga Wireless Webcam concept offering 4K Ultra HD and direct streaming to a Yoga PC for instant editing. Jun Ouyang, Lenovo’s Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Consumer Segment, framed the work by saying, "As we push the limits of AI innovation higher than ever, it is important to remember that delivering access to AI for all is equally a core tenet of Lenovo’s philosophy... With the announcement of innovations like the Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition, the IdeaPad Slim 3x, and the Lenovo Yoga Solar PC Concept, Lenovo has delivered a suite of new devices and proofs of concept that empower end users to let their creativity shine."
Lenovo positioned the announcements as creator-first hardware that pairs local Windows AI features like Studio Effects and Live Captions with its own Qira layer and Copilot+ qualification. Reported shipping windows range from March through June 2026 for key models, with region- and SKU-specific pricing reported differently across outlets; expect final MSRPs, regional availability, and confirmed rollout dates for Qira to appear in Lenovo’s full press kit and product pages in the coming weeks.
