Marcus Elijah Clark Arrested After Girlfriend Shot Inside Greensboro Bravo Inn Room
Destiny Moore, 20, was treated at a local hospital after deputies say she suffered non-life-threatening gunshot injuries inside a Bravo Inn room at 2600 Preddy Boulevard in Greensboro.

A 20-year-old woman identified as Destiny Moore was found with non-life-threatening injuries consistent with a gunshot wound inside a hotel room at the Bravo Inn, 2600 Preddy Boulevard in Greensboro, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, deputies say.
Guilford County Sheriff Danny H. Rogers said deputies responded around 2:45 p.m. on Feb. 15 to the 3700 block of South Holden Road for a reported shooting, where they found Moore with the gunshot-type injuries. Detectives later determined Moore and her boyfriend had been staying at the Bravo Inn and that the shooting occurred inside their hotel room, according to the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office and the GCSO Major Crimes Investigative Unit.
Authorities arrested 20-year-old Marcus Elijah Clark, identified as Moore’s boyfriend, and booked him into the Guilford County Detention Center. Clark faces three charges: felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He is being held under a $150,000 secured bond, and the sheriff’s office released a booking image credited to the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office.
WXII12 reported that Clark is due in court on March 10 and that the investigation remains ongoing; other reports from local outlets likewise say authorities continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the Feb. 15 shooting at the hotel. The GCSO Major Crimes Investigative Unit is leading the criminal inquiry into what transpired inside the room at the Bravo Inn, 2600 Preddy Boulevard.

The incident sent a young woman to a hospital and left a motel room at 2600 Preddy Boulevard as an active crime scene, underscoring immediate public safety and health questions for Greensboro neighborhoods near Preddy Boulevard and South Holden Road. Moore’s transport to a local hospital and WXII12’s update that she is recovering draw attention to the downstream medical needs of gunshot survivors and the role of area emergency departments in treating non-life-threatening but serious injuries.
Officials are asking the public to help fill investigative gaps in the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective M. Secor at 336-641-5840 or Guilford County Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.
