Motorola, FIFA and Solace Launch FIFA Heroes Ahead of World Cup 2026
Motorola optimized FIFA Heroes for its Razr Fold's 8.1-inch display and is offering power-up tokens, gems, emotes and a retro razr goal celebration as Motorola-exclusive rewards.

Motorola, FIFA and publisher Solace unveiled FIFA Heroes, an arcade-style 5-a-side football mobile game tied into Motorola’s FIFA World Cup 26 smartphone program and positioned as part of the build-up to World Cup 2026. The companies say select upcoming Motorola phones will offer instant access to the title and that Motorola branding will appear directly inside the game, with exclusive in-game rewards for Motorola users including power-up tokens, gems, game emotes, a retro razr goal celebration and playable characters.
FIFA Heroes is described as a fast, explosive take on arcade football that, for the first time, places real players, FIFA’s official mascots and fictional IP characters on the same pitch. Matches are billed as quick and surprise-filled, and the title encourages squad-building and mastery of named superpowers such as teleport dribble, flaming power shot and magnetic tackle to turn matches upside down.
Solace is listed as the game’s publisher and has partnered with New York City studio Enver to publish and develop FIFA Heroes. Enver is identified in the announcement as founded in 2021 and based in New York City, described as a media-first gaming company creating culture-shaping worlds. Motorola is presented as the official smartphone partner of FIFA Heroes and the broader FIFA World Cup 26 smartphone program, linking the mobile title to Motorola’s tournament marketing push.
Device-level optimizations are a key part of Motorola’s messaging. The Razr Fold’s 8.1-inch unfolded display is called out for providing a wider view of the pitch, with ergonomically placed controls beneath the gameplay area to enhance comfort and usability during matches. At Mobile World Congress 2026 Motorola also showed two FIFA Edition smartphones: a Razr Fold FIFA World Cup 26 Edition and an Edge 70 Fusion FIFA World Cup 26 Edition, both named as part of the campaign that brings FIFA Heroes to Motorola hardware.

Distribution plans place FIFA Heroes on the Google Play Store, but release timing remains unsettled across reports: one outlet states the game is scheduled to launch later this year, while another editorial noted the title “should be there soon, probably today.” Motorola’s own messaging promises more updates and content on the horizon without a firm public release date in the material provided.
François LaFlamme, Chief Marketing Officer at Motorola, framed the collaboration around performance and connectivity: “This collaboration goes beyond gaming—it's about delivering an experience that feels faster, smoother, and more connected for every fan. By working closely with Solace and FIFA, we’ve optimized FIFA Heroes for Motorola devices so players get the best possible performance right out of the box. It's a powerful way to show how our technology enhances the way people play, connect, and experience entertainment, and we’re excited to share even more in the months ahead.” The announcement was made in Barcelona during Mobile World Congress on March 2, 2026, and Motorola says exclusive content and campaign activity will continue into the 2026 World Cup.
