NWSL and Nike launched a new suite of jerseys for the 2026 season Feb. 26, rolling out authentic, replica, goalkeeper and pre-match tops on NWSLShop.com, nike.com and select retail locations with full customization for any NWSL athlete competing in 2026. The authentic kits feature Nike DRI-FIT ADV, which NWSL describes as "engineered to deliver enhanced breathability, flexibility, and moisture management so players can perform at their best in every moment," and Ally Financial will appear on the left sleeve of each authentic shirt as the league’s official banking partner.

Nike framed the collection as club-driven storytelling rooted in place and community. Yazmin Rosete, Nike Senior Designer, Global Football Apparel, said, "For 2026, we wanted to create kits that embody this bold spirit, make a statement and let the rich stories of each club’s legacy play out in new ways, both on and off the pitch." NWSL VP of Consumer Products Katie Eaton added, "With all eyes on soccer in North America in 2026, we wanted designs that truly stand out and reflect the growing cultural momentum around the sport," noting the launch "celebrate[s] local pride and capture[s] the energy, culture and passion that fuel our league."

Retail specifics aim to widen access: replica styles will offer expanded sizing, and NWSLShop lists unisex, women's and youth cuts for the new product suite. Nike’s technical copy promises that Dri-FIT ADV "provides reinforcement, mobility and breathability where it’s needed most, allowing athletes to run and cut with confidence," language that positions the kits for elite match play ahead of the NWSL’s March 13 regular-season kickoff.

Design narratives are literal in many of the new shirts. San Diego Wave's Balboa Park Kit draws from the Plaza de Panama tile work with pink, orange and blue trim and was designed in collaboration with a San Diego native Nike employee; the club intends the jersey to begin a broader partnership with Balboa Park. Washington Spirit's Spirit in Bloom kit places cherry blossoms against a dark green Potomac River base, a concept developed by longtime staffer Ben Berczek to let the blossoms pop. Orlando Pride's Unity Kit commemorates "the strength, resilience, and unity of the City of Orlando" a decade after the Pulse tragedy. Racing Louisville’s Disco Kit nods to Louisville’s history as a disco ball producer, and Gotham FC’s Lady Liberty Kit is presented as a 3D take on the Statue of Liberty. NC Courage’s Become Kit carries the outer pride "Esse Quam Videri" and will serve as the club's primary home jersey for 2026, a design Equalizer described as "simple and perhaps underwhelming" but possessing "a flowing gracefulness."

USAToday’s roster of names compiles the collection across clubs: Angel City FC — The Flare Kit; Bay FC — The Poppy Kit; Boston Legacy FC — First Light Kit and Common Ground Kit; Chicago Stars — The Gameday DNA Kit; Denver Summit — Inaugural Evergreen Kit and Summit Snow Kit; Houston Dash — Houston Chronicles Kit; KC Current — The Storm Kit; Gotham FC — The Lady Liberty Kit; NC Courage — The Become Kit; Orlando Pride — The Unity Kit; Portland Thorns — The Electric Bloom Kit; Racing Louisville — The Disco Kit; San Diego Wave — The Balboa Park Kit; Seattle Reign — The Surge Kit; Utah Royals — The Swarm Kit; Washington Spirit — The Spirit in Bloom Kit.

The NWSL/Nike launch follows a January knitwear drop in collaboration with DC brand Dead Dirt and signals a commercial push as the league says it heads into 2026 "with momentum driven by both on-field excellence and off-field cultural impact." With jerseys in shops now and the season kicking off March 13, these Dri-FIT ADV kits will move from marketing galleries to matchday under stadium lights and, for the first time this year, include an expanded slate of third kits across clubs.
