Oak Harbor Lions Host Diamond Jubilee Seafood Extravaganza and Crab Feed
Celebrate 75 years with up to two pounds of steamed crab per guest at the Oak Harbor Lions' Diamond Jubilee on March 7 at the Elks Lodge, 155 NE Ernst St.

The Oak Harbor Lions Club will mark its 75th anniversary with the Diamond Jubilee Seafood Extravaganza and Crab Feed on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Elks Lodge, 155 NE Ernst St in Oak Harbor, starting at 6:00 p.m. Reserved tables receive early entry at 5:30 p.m., and proceeds from the evening will benefit the Oak Harbor Lions Foundation to fund local vision care assistance, youth programs, senior services and aid for families in need.
Organizers say the dinner will be generous: “This 75th Diamond Jubilee will feature an abundant seafood feast, including up to two pounds of fresh steamed crab per guest, Penn Cove mussels, buttered garlic shrimp scampi, fresh coleslaw, bread and a fully loaded baked potato bar,” Those who prefer land-based fare will not be left out: “For those who prefer a non-seafood option, a prime rib dinner will also be available.”
Tickets are listed at $75 per person, with group-table options and advance-reservation perks. The Oak Harbor Lions are promoting a group-table package: “Reserve a group table of 10 & decorate early!” Early entry for those reserved tables is set for 5:30 p.m., and callers or texters can reach VP Mike at 360-202-4702 to reserve space or confirm availability.
The program mixes live entertainment and fundraising. Promotional materials list “Live music by Marty and The Moontans” alongside planned fundraising features: “Silent Auction, Raffles, 50/50, Cake Walk fun!” Event listings also show desserts and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase, and side offerings across promotional copy include seafood fettuccine alfredo, mashed potatoes, corn, coleslaw and bread.
The date itself echoes the club’s founding: chartered on March 7, 1951, the Oak Harbor Lions are holding the March 7 event exactly 75 years to the day. The club framed the celebration with its long-standing mission: “For 75 years, the Oak Harbor Lions have proudly embodied the Lions International motto, ‘We Serve,’ contributing countless volunteer hours and resources to improve quality of life in the community.”
The event is expected to last about four hours beginning at 6:00 p.m., and proceeds will flow to the Oak Harbor Lions Foundation to support local projects. For reservations and ticket details, callers may contact 360-202-4702 (call or text VP Mike) to secure seating and inquire about reserved-table early entry.
