OUR LEGACY WORK SHOP and Timberland launch outdoors-forward capsule February 27
OUR LEGACY WORK SHOP and Timberland dropped a first‑ever outdoors‑forward capsule on Feb. 27 anchored by a reworked Horween® 6‑Inch Boot with a Vibram® outsole and Our Legacy tongue branding.
The first collaboration between OUR LEGACY WORK SHOP and Timberland arrived globally on February 27, 2026, built around a reworked Timberland 6‑Inch Boot and a full “uniform” of outdoors‑ready apparel. The boot is the capsule’s anchor: Horween® pebbled leather, a reshaped toe box, anti‑fatigue footbed and a rugged Vibram® rubber outsole combine vintage cues with modern comfort, while the tongue bears Our Legacy branding and a hang tag carries the Swedish label’s Yin‑Yang insignia.
That 6‑Inch silhouette leans into Timberland’s 1970s origins but reads intentionally refined. The pebbled finish is described to add depth and a vintage character that develops over time, and the construction was specified with Horween® leather and Vibram® components for confident traction. The result is heavy‑duty footwear that still nods to WORK SHOP’s pared‑back Scandinavian language through the reshaped profile and subtle branding.
The apparel is presented as a grounded, outdoor uniform. Key pieces include the Wharf Coat in Japanese 60/40 cotton‑nylon - described by the label as “residual” Japanese 60/40 cotton‑nylon and elsewhere noted as “Japanese deadstock” 60/40 cotton‑nylon - a Weather Cap in full Italian sheepskin nubuck, and a Work Cut jean made from raw deadstock Italian selvedge denim. The Timber Shirt is a relaxed‑fit workpiece with two chest pockets and a pencil slot, a Timberland archival detail, while a Pocket Longsleeve in washed black heavyweight cotton and a relaxed fit flannel with a double front pocket round out the set.
Creative direction is explicit and anchored in lived culture. “We built the collection around the formative years of early era outdoor aesthetics, pairing everyday clothes with a weather‑resistant jacket and a great pair of rugged boots. As we approached Timberland’s archive - by way of construction‑site core and our ’90s New York rap heroes - we wanted to amplify their history as outdoor pioneers,” said Jockum Hallin, Co‑Founder of OUR LEGACY and Creative Director of OUR LEGACY WORK SHOP.

Campaign imagery was shot against the Alpes‑Maritimes in France, matching the capsule’s outdoors‑forward intent with wide‑open coastal and mountain backdrops. Retail availability at launch was listed for DSM Ginza, Our Legacy’s channels and Timberland’s online stores, with the drop timed for February 27; no MSRP or SKU pricing was provided in the launch materials available at publication.
This collaboration positions WORK SHOP silhouettes through Timberland’s archival lens, marrying Horween® leather and Vibram® underfoot with deadstock Japanese and Italian fabrics above. The point is practical and aesthetic: pieces built to wear in and patina, sold now at DSM Ginza and the brands’ online shops, and meant to read as a cohesive outdoor uniform rather than a scattershot capsule.
