Owlet and Babylist Donate $39,000 in Monitors to Children's Hospital Los Angeles NICCU
Owlet and Babylist donated $39,000 in Dream Sock monitors and Dream Duo3 bundles to CHLA's NICCU, assembling care packages for families in the hospital's neonatal unit.

Owlet partnered with Babylist to deliver $39,000 in product donations to Children's Hospital Los Angeles, directing Dream Sock® monitors, Dream Duo™3 bundles, and swaddles to the hospital's Newborn Intensive Critical Care Unit (NICCU) in support of CHLA's 11th annual Make March Matter campaign.
Babylist, the leading baby registry and parenting resource, hosted the March 24th event at its Beverly Hills Showroom. Representatives from both companies and CHLA were on hand, including Shawn Besabella from Babylist, Jillian Green and Dawn Wilcox Verrecchia from CHLA, and Amanda Nelson and Jamie Rahaeuser from Owlet.
"The families in CHLA's NICCU are navigating some of the most overwhelming moments of their lives. Owlet offers them peace of mind by giving them a tool to bridge the hospital and the home," said Liz Teran, Chief Parent Officer at Owlet. "We are grateful to work with Babylist in support of Children's Hospital Los Angeles for this campaign. Make March Matter is a natural extension of everything we stand for at Owlet, and we're proud to put our products in the hands of the families who need them most."
Molly Goodson, VP of Brand and Media at Babylist, added: "Helping families welcome their baby into the world is at the core of everything we do at Babylist, and our social impact work is no exception. We're so proud to host this event at our Showroom with the support of partners like Owlet, whose commitment to giving every baby the best possible start aligns so deeply with our own. Seeing Owlet's technology go directly into the hands of NICCU families through the care packages we assembled is exactly the kind of impact we set out to create in supporting Make March Matter."
The month-long fundraising drive galvanizes local businesses to rally community participation to raise $1 million or more, and more than 90 Southern California businesses are participating this year. Babylist is among the businesses that have committed to raising $12,500 or more as part of CHLA's 125th Anniversary Club.
The donation fits squarely within Owlet's broader philanthropic strategy. Since 2012, more than 2.5 million parents have trusted Owlet to monitor their children's well-being and sleep. The company's advocacy arm, Owlet Cares, has donated over $2.5 million in product and charitable support since 2021 and works with more than 40 global nonprofit partners. Owlet frames the CHLA contribution as part of its commitment to health equity, ensuring medical-grade infant monitoring technology reaches families facing the most acute need during their baby's earliest days.
Owlet (NYSE: OWLT) claims to be "the only company in the world to offer U.S. FDA-cleared and internationally medically-certified wearable pediatric monitors, delivering hospital-grade technology directly in the home." The company is also expanding insurance-supported access to its FDA-cleared, prescription pulse oximeter BabySat®, now available to TRICARE members and Medicaid families through partnerships with durable medical equipment providers. That access push took on additional scale with Owlet's recently announced strategic partnership with PromptCare, a national respiratory services and DME provider operating from 25-plus locations across the United States with more than 40 years of experience in respiratory care delivery.
CHLA cares for children with the most complex and critical conditions, and its NICCU represents the frontline of that mission. For Owlet and Babylist, assembling care packages of consumer-facing monitoring hardware for those families is a pointed attempt to extend that standard of care past the hospital's walls.
