Oxford's Light Up the Night returns March 6 with free headlight cleanings

The Oxford Police Department’s Light Up the Night community-safety event returns Friday, March 6, 2026, providing free headlight cleanings and restorations to drivers as an outreach to improve road safety. The event is scheduled to be held at the OPD facility at 9 Industrial Park Drive in Oxford.

Officers will offer the free headlight cleanings at the 9 Industrial Park Drive location between roughly 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., giving drivers a chance to restore dimmed or cloudy headlights before longer spring nights and local evening traffic on University Avenue and County Road 313.
