Pitchify launches Pitch Direct publisher-matching service to simplify developer pitches
Pitchify launches Pitch Direct to simplify developer pitches, going live March 5, 2026, with 15 open submissions from nine participating publishers.

Pitchify has launched Pitch Direct, a publisher-matching service that goes live March 5, 2026, designed to replace scattergun email submissions with a more structured way for developers to find suitable publishing partners. The platform aims to make publisher requirements explicit - including budgets and timelines - so studios can target pitches that fit instead of submitting blindly.
Pitchify says Pitch Direct lets developers craft pitches with clear guidance on publisher requirements and replaces opaque email inbox pitching with a structured, criteria-led process that matches projects to publishers based on fit and quality. Pitchify co-founder Gina Jackson said, "With Pitch Direct, Pitchify directly addresses the systemic imbalances in game funding." Jackson added, "Access to publishers is too often shaped by informal networks, insider knowledge, and proximity, rather than merit."
Altered Gene studio head Des Gayle framed the problem from the developer side, calling the landscape "opaque and unpredictable" and saying, "It's often hard to tell who is a good fit for our game and who isn't." Gayle described the old approach as "sending pitches into the abyss to get ignored" and welcomed a tool that lets teams target publishers with matching requirements to increase the chance of "meaningful conversations, even if they are fast 'no's'."
Pitchify says Pitch Direct currently has 15 open submissions from nine publishers, including Curve Games, Excalibur Games, Green Man Gaming, Kando Factory, Kwalee, Rainy Frog, Super Rare Games, Miniclip, and Team17. The nine named publishers will present criteria for submissions so scouts and analysts can triage offers against stated budgets and timelines rather than wading through unstructured inboxes.

Jackson framed the service as both developer-facing and publisher-facing, saying Pitch Direct "creates fairer access for a broader and more diverse range of developers, ensuring that strong projects can be discovered on equal terms, regardless of background or connections, whilst supporting scouts to focus on analysis rather than admin." That dual focus underpins Pitchify's positioning as an online marketplace aiming to shift opportunity away from gatekeeping and towards fit and quality.
