Apple’s latest earbuds told a similar story. The AirPods Pro 3 briefly fell to a record-low $169 at Walmart after deal trackers had already logged a previous low of $179. Apple currently sells the earbuds for $249, and Walmart’s own pages have shown different prices depending on the listing, including $199 on one product page and $229 in a broader category listing. That kind of price movement is a reminder that Prime Day bargains can change hour by hour, and that the headline number is only useful if the shopper checks the exact listing before buying.

The appeal of the AirPods Pro 3 goes beyond the discount. Apple says the earbuds add heart-rate sensing during workouts, hearing-test and hearing-aid features, and what it calls world-class active noise cancellation. The Watch Series 11 also brings newer health and fitness tools, including hypertension notifications, sleep score, Workout Buddy powered by Apple Intelligence, and up to 24 hours of battery life. Those features help explain why these models are drawing attention, even at prices that are still well above entry-level accessories.

For consumers, the practical test is simple: rare launch discounts on current Apple hardware are worth more scrutiny than ordinary markdowns on aging stock. This Prime Day delivered both a meaningful watch deal and a record-low earbuds price, making it one of the stronger chances this summer to buy new Apple gear below list price.
