Rebels Sweep Ole Miss Classic, Defeat Jacksonville State and ULM

Oxford, Lafayette County — Ole Miss swept the home-hosted Ole Miss Classic, finishing 4-0 and outscoring Jacksonville State and ULM by a combined 24-3 across four games at the Ole Miss Softball Stadium during the packed Feb. 27–Mar. 1 weekend.

The tournament format featured six games over three days with Ole Miss playing two games against Jacksonville State and two against the University of Louisiana-Monroe. The Rebels opened with an 8-0 run-rule victory that ended in the fifth inning, as Lilly Whitten relieved to record the final outs in that shortened game.
