Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak’s staff will hold mobile office hours in Jamestown on Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Central Time at the Alfred Dickey Public Library, 105 3rd St. SE. The visits are designed to give Stutsman County residents direct access to congressional staff for help with federal casework and interactions with federal agencies.

The Jamestown visit is part of a statewide February schedule released by Fedorchak’s office. A Jan. 29 press release stated, "The mobile office hours are designed to ensure every North Dakotan has the opportunity to meet face-to-face with members of her team and receive assistance with federal agencies." Appointments are offered for one-on-one meetings with staff and are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Constituents who want a scheduled slot should sign up through Fedorchak’s official website; staff will contact participants directly to confirm meeting times. Walk-ins will be seen as time allows after scheduled appointments conclude. Those plans mirror procedures used at prior stops earlier this winter and at events last year when the office toured multiple communities across North Dakota.

The February schedule also includes stops in Grand Forks County at The HIVE on Feb. 4, Williams County at Williston State College on Feb. 5, Cass County in Fargo on Feb. 12, Stark County at Dickinson City Hall on Feb. 12 and McKenzie County in Watford City on Feb. 19. Times vary by location and in some cases are listed in Mountain Time; Jamestown’s hours are listed in Central Time.

For Jamestown residents, the mobile office hours offer a practical avenue to resolve problems that often require congressional involvement - matters such as SSA processing delays, VA questions, federal benefit appeals and other agency casework. Staffed one-on-one appointments allow residents to bring documentation and outline specific issues so staff can open inquiries, route requests or advise on next steps with federal agencies.

The mobile office hours are part of a recurring outreach effort; Fedorchak’s staff held similar events in January and December in other North Dakota communities. Local residents who plan to attend should register through the congresswoman’s website to secure a slot and expect staff to confirm appointment details in advance. If demand is high, walk-ins may need to wait until scheduled meetings conclude.
