Salt Lake Bees unveil 2026 promotional calendar; tickets on sale now
Salt Lake Bees unveiled their 2026 promotional calendar and put single-game tickets on sale, featuring seven fireworks nights, seven drone shows and six Bark in the Park games.

The Salt Lake Bees opened the 2026 fan calendar with a splash, releasing a full slate of theme nights and announcing single-game tickets are on sale. The schedule leans heavily into spectacle and family programming, with seven fireworks nights, seven drone shows and six Bark in the Park games anchoring a season designed to broaden appeal beyond the boxscore.
Salt Lake’s season opens on the road March 28 at Las Vegas, with the home opener set for March 31 against Sacramento at The Ballpark at America First Square in South Jordan. The team’s news release highlighted a roster of pop culture and community nights, noting, “Fans of all ages have plenty to look forward to when baseball returns to The Ballpark at America First Square in Downtown Daybreak, with fireworks, drone shows, pop culture nights and community celebrations all season long.” The release also confirmed the totals for fireworks, drone shows and Bark in the Park promotions.
Operational changes aim to make games more accessible to families and to manage Southwest heat. The Bees will start Tuesday through Saturday home games at 6:35 p.m., and will run Sunday afternoon matinees in April and May with a 2:05 p.m. first pitch as part of the club’s “Sunday Brunch at the Ballpark.” Explaining the move, Thompson said, “Shifting those Sunday games will just allow fans to avoid sitting in direct sunlight and sitting in the heat, and they can be in a more comfortable environment. Really, it just came down to creating more of a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our fans. ... We believe this adjustment is going to be a positive step in that direction.” The club is also eyeing to add more Bark in the Park promotions to Sunday dates.
Promotions run the gamut from Star Wars Night, Friendship Bracelet Night and Harry Potter Night to Princess Night and Christmas in June, with cultural celebrations including AANHPI Night and Abejas Night and appreciation nights for teachers, the military and first responders. Signature weekends will include Independence Day festivities tied to America 250, Country Weekend and Pioneer Day. The season will wind down in September with Abejas Night, a 9/11 Tribute, Bee Charitable Night and Fan Appreciation Night, which will feature a Bluey meet-and-greet.

Beyond promotional theater, recent team moves point to continuity and player development. Doug Davis enters 2026 as the Bees’ ninth manager, Keith Johnson was elevated to the Los Angeles Angels’ staff as third base coach last November, and right-hander Victor Mederos, a 2025 Pacific Coast League All-Star, posted a 3.39 ERA and a 7-5 record in 16 starts for Salt Lake last year. Those staffing and prospect notes matter for on-field competitiveness as the Bees balance entertainment-driven revenue strategies with player development for the Los Angeles Angels pipeline.
Single-game tickets went on sale with the Feb. 3 announcement; the team’s release did not include pricing or box office details. For fans, the calendar signals a season built to compete in the local entertainment market: more evening comfort, family-friendly Sunday windows, and a roster of theme nights and specialty events designed to turn a night at the ballpark into an experience beyond nine innings.
