Towie star Jake Hall dies aged 35 after Mallorca accident

Jake Hall, the former TOWIE star and menswear entrepreneur, died in Mallorca at the age of 35 after being found at a rented villa in Santa Margalida. Spanish authorities were treating the case as an apparent accidental death while waiting for an autopsy in Palma, and police reportedly questioned six other people at the property, four men and two women. No arrests had been made.

Hall joined The Only Way Is Essex in 2015 and left the ITV reality series in 2024. He also ran a menswear brand, By Jake Hall, and had recently posted on Instagram from Majorca, where he had been painting. The sequence of events has drawn attention to the hazards of private-villa gatherings, where alcohol, glass fittings and delayed emergency response can turn a sudden fall or impact into a fatal injury.

The father of one is survived by his daughter, River, who is eight. River was born in 2017, and her mother, Missé Beqiri, a model and reality-TV personality, asked for privacy while the family grieves. Through representatives, Beqiri said the family’s focus was on supporting and protecting their child and asked for compassion and respect.

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office said it was supporting the family of a British man who died in Spain and was in contact with local authorities. That involvement underscores the routine but important consular role that follows a death abroad, especially when an investigation remains open and a family is waiting for answers far from home.

Tributes poured in from across the reality-TV circuit. TOWIE posted its own condolences, while friends and fellow personalities including Fat Tony, Georgia Harrison, Antony Costa and Chloe Lewis also paid tribute. Hall’s death has left a visible gap in a scene that often trades on glamour and escape, but the central questions now are more basic: what happened inside the villa, whether the property posed avoidable dangers, and whether a routine night among friends ended because of a preventable safety failure.
