Two Suspects Arrested Without Incident in Ocean View Ongoing Investigation
Hawaiʻi Island police took two previously identified suspects into custody in Ocean View without incident, authorities said, as investigators probe a violent robbery and a stolen SUV.

Hawaiʻi Island police said "Hawaiʻi Island police took two previously identified suspects into custody in Ocean View without incident." The arrests "relate to an ongoing investigation, details undisclosed," and "authorities continue their probe," officials said.
At 4:15 p.m., officers responded to a reported crash at the intersection of Aloha Blvd and Lotus Blossom Lane in the Hawaiian Ocean View Estates subdivision, investigators said. The victim vehicle was a Toyota sedan driven by a 67-year-old Ocean View woman; she and two passengers — a 47-year-old Ocean View woman and an 8-year-old girl — suffered non-life-threatening injuries after the Toyota was broadsided by a Ford sport utility vehicle.
After the collision, the 47-year-old passenger approached the Ford SUV to check on occupants when a gray pickup truck pulled up alongside, police reports show. A man exited the pickup, physically assaulted the 47-year-old and "brandished a small handgun" while demanding the woman's cellular phone; fearing for her safety, the woman complied. The man and the Ford SUV driver fled south on Lotus Blossom Lane toward Seabreeze Parkway, witnesses told investigators.
Investigators developed suspect and vehicle descriptions during witness interviews. The female driver of the Ford SUV was described as a woman in her 30s, heavy build, tan complexion, about 5 feet 4 inches tall with reddish-blonde dyed hair. The male suspect who exited the pickup was described as 55 years old, dark complexion, 5 feet 4 inches tall, about 160 pounds, bald and clean-shaven. Investigators also determined the Ford SUV had been reported stolen in November 2025 from a residence on Seabreeze Parkway in Hawaiian Ocean View Estates. "Officials are continuing the investigation into the robbery and the stolen vehicle," police said.
The community has seen other recent enforcement actions in Ocean View. A Hawaii County narcotics search warrant executed at a residence in the 92-8700 block of Palm Parkway resulted in the arrests of William Moore, 51; Camille Aldorasi, 51; and Deandre Moore, 20. Officers recovered approximately 16.68 grams of methamphetamine, 320.8 grams of marijuana concentrate, 113.8 grams of marijuana, 0.5 grams of heroin, a loaded pistol and a loaded .22-caliber rifle. William Moore faces 18 drug and firearms offenses with bail set at $418,000; Camille Aldorasi faces 10 drug offenses with bail set at $85,300; Deandre Moore faces eight firearms offenses with bail set at $24,000.

Public records show a busy late-February booking period on Hawaiʻi Island. A Hawaii Police media booking log printed 2/28/2026 lists multiple arrests dated 02/27/26 with Ocean View addresses among others, and names in the excerpt include FRATUS, KINDRA K; KOSINSKI-SANTOS, JENNA A; and TEISINA, NAFETALAI, though the log excerpt does not identify the two suspects referenced in the Ocean View custody announcement.
Separately, a police news release warned about three wanted Ocean View residents and stated, "Due to the nature of the warrants and current information available to investigators, all three individuals should be considered armed and dangerous" and "They should not be approached." That notice named people who frequent Kailua-Kona and Ocean View and said they were last seen in the Kaloko Light Industrial Area in a blue Nissan sedan.
