Union x fragment x Air Jordan 1 Pack Drops Feb 27
Nike SNKRS ran a draw for the Union x fragment x Air Jordan 1 Chicago Royal on Feb. 27, 2026, priced at $205 in adult sizes with limited boutique allocations.

Nike SNKRS ran a draw on February 27, 2026, for the fragment x Union LA x Air Jordan 1 Chicago Royal, with adult sizes listed at $205 and select boutiques receiving limited allocations alongside the app release. Several outlets had tracked the three-pack as a high-profile collaboration, and SoleRetriever explicitly tied the Chicago Royal to the SNKRS + select retailers rollout on that date.
The collaboration’s provenance stretches back to rumors in late 2024 and a social trail that involved Hiroshi Fujiwara wearing fragment interpretations after Union’s Chicago Air Jordan 1 release. “This trio connecting for a collaboration was a long time coming,” SoleSavvy wrote as the project moved from rumor to public acknowledgement, and Quiet Magazine later revealed the trio on its cover, bringing the pack into the spotlight.
The three colorways circulated in coverage were Black/White, Sport Royal, and Chicago/Varsity Red (often referenced as Chicago Royal). Coverage in WWD reported that the Black/White pair was “the most limited of the trio” and had been released earlier through just five global stores, while Ian Servantes noted Sport Royal received a moderately wider launch through Union and The Whitaker Group’s stores. The Chicago/Varsity Red iteration was identified by SoleRetriever and SneakerNews as the most accessible pair and the one receiving the SNKRS draw on Feb. 27.
Design details rooted the project in both brands’ AJ1 lineage. Ian Servantes described the Urahara Stitch variant as “Named for the Ura-Harajuku neighborhood in Tokyo,” and he detailed that “each of the overlays features raw yellow edges, while contrast stitching highlights the split between the collar and the rest of the sneaker. A ‘UN/LA’ hangtag is affixed to the collar strap, and Fragment branding arrives via an embossed lightning logo on the lateral heel and product text directly beneath on the midsole.” SoleRetriever highlighted the red collar affixed with white exposed zig-zag stitching and the pre-aged off-white midsole with exposed foam that completes the vintage aesthetic.

Materials and motifs leaned on tumbled leather uppers that stitch together Black, White, Varsity Red and Sport Royal, and coverage preserved original Nike Air branding and the Air Jordan Wings logo on the ankle. SoleRetriever framed the pairing in playful terms: “These two collabs are doing their best Goku and Vegeta impression, fusing together while highlighting the best parts from both partnerships on a three-pack of fragment x Union x Jordan 1s.”
The drop included a small apparel collection and retail extras. Sneaktorious and Si listed shorts at $110, a thermal at $100, a jersey at $120, a T-shirt at $50 and a hoodie at $120; packaging with the sneakers reportedly contained three pairs of laces, detailed insoles, and special packaging. SoleSavvy noted branded apparel such as a white T-shirt with Union Los Angeles and fragment branding on the sleeve and a long-sleeve with both logos across the chest.
Pricing and SKU reporting contained discrepancies across outlets. Multiple reports tied the SNKRS adult price to $205 while earlier Sneaktorious copy listed $200; Sneaktorious also showed a Black/White style code as “II7282-100.” With legacy references to fragment’s 2014 AJ1 and Union’s 2018 Storm Blue and Black Toe projects, this three-pack closed the loop on two of the most cited AJ1 colorway lineages and set up a competitive aftermarket where outlets predicted rapid sellouts and listings on StockX and GOAT.
