AHL Extends Partnership with WolfCycle to Boost Team Sales and Fan Engagement
The AHL extended its partnership with WolfCycle on March 26, bringing conversational AI sales tools to all 32 teams via a CEO who once worked inside the league.

The American Hockey League extended its partnership with WolfCycle on March 26, giving every club in the league access to a sales-enablement platform built around conversational AI and automated prospecting tools. The deal continues a relationship that has already seen WolfCycle work alongside a number of AHL clubs over recent seasons.
WolfCycle, headquartered in its digital presence at wolfcycle.ai, operates as a full-service sales enablement agency focused on scaling ticket, sponsorship, and premium sales for sports and entertainment clients. The company's model is built on a specific premise: use AI and automation to handle the top of the funnel so that sales staff can spend less time prospecting and more time closing.
For AHL teams, that distinction matters. Front-office sales departments at the minor-league level run lean, and losing hours to cold outreach is a real cost. The league-wide extension means all AHL clubs now have access to WolfCycle's suite of tools, which the company says delivers better data, improved efficiency through the sales funnel, and measurable ROI gains.
Courtney Perzan, the AHL's Vice President of Team Business Services, framed the partnership in terms of fan acquisition. "The relationship with WolfCycle will allow all AHL teams the opportunity to identify and engage with their fans-in-waiting more efficiently and effectively," she said.

Ryan Miller, WolfCycle's CEO, brought a personal dimension to the announcement. A former member of the AHL organization, Miller noted the significance of returning to the league in a new capacity. "As a former member of the AHL family, I am particularly excited to announce our partnership with the AHL bringing cutting-edge conversational AI services to their teams," he said. Miller also pointed to existing traction inside the league: "We have already shared great success with a number of AHL teams and look to empower more clubs with this innovative technology to support the growth of their respective fanbases."
The AHL has not disclosed which clubs were previously part of WolfCycle's client base, nor has it released contract terms or a league-wide rollout timeline. What the extension does signal is a league-level bet that AI-driven sales infrastructure is no longer optional for teams competing for local fan dollars in markets that often sit in the shadow of NHL franchises.
