Patera's reassignment sends an NHL-contracted goaltender to Abbotsford's crease. Brock Boeser and Marco Rossi, both forwards who were sidelined on IR, are also available after being activated on Feb 26, 2026. Those activations restore depth up front with Boeser and Rossi and add a defensive option in Buium for coach deployment decisions.
