Raphaël Lavoie put together one of the most productive weeks in the Henderson Silver Knights' current season, earning the Howies Hockey Tape/AHL Player of the Week award for the period ending March 22. The 25-year-old winger from Chambly, Quebec became the first Henderson player to win the honor this season and the first Silver Knight to claim it since defenseman Calen Addison took the award in January 2025.

Lavoie totaled five goals and eight points across four games, logging 26 shots on goal and posting a plus-4 rating while stretching his personal points streak to seven games. He scored in three of those four contests, opening the week with a two-goal performance Tuesday against the Calgary Wranglers, adding a single goal Thursday in Calgary, then closing with another two-goal effort Sunday at home against the Texas Stars.

The volume of shot attempts alongside the goal totals signals more than a hot-shooting stretch. Twenty-six shots over four games represents consistent pressure at the net, and a plus-4 rating over that same span underscores that Lavoie was contributing on both sides of the puck for a Silver Knights squad with direct pipeline ties to the Vegas Golden Knights.

This marks the second time Lavoie has earned the league's weekly award. Playing for the Bakersfield Condors in October 2023, he recorded four goals and six points in three games as Bakersfield won all three contests. That week included two power-play goals in a 5-1 win over Henderson, a game-high eight shots on goal plus an assist on the winning goal in a 4-1 victory at Tucson, and two more goals with another assist on the game-winning tally in a 5-1 rematch win over Tucson.

A second-round pick of the Edmonton Oilers in the 2019 NHL Draft, Lavoie had scored a team-best 25 goals for Bakersfield in 2022-23 and had accumulated 47 goals, 41 assists, and 88 points in 141 career AHL games with the Condors by the time of that October 2023 announcement. His move to Henderson since then has kept him squarely in the conversation as one of the Pacific Division's most productive AHL forwards, and a seven-game points streak in late March makes his timing particularly relevant as the Silver Knights push toward the end of the regular season.
