Scott and Tyler turned a cornhole tournament at a World of Outlaws Late Models event into something bigger than a side attraction, winning the fan contest and earning a trip to the World Finals. The payoff matters because the World of Outlaws World Finals is the championship event for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars, the World of Outlaws Late Models and the Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Nov. 4-7 at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina, where the season-ending Late Model races typically draw one of the largest and toughest fields in the series in front of one of the biggest crowds in dirt track racing.

At another event, fans could play for World Finals tickets in a cornhole tournament at noon on Saturday, with signups held in the Fan Zone on Thursday and Friday. That format gave supporters a reason to arrive early, stay engaged through the weekend and compete for a prize that carries real value beyond the lane boards.

The Scott and Tyler win fits that model cleanly. Instead of limiting fan interaction to autograph lines or trackside entertainment, World of Outlaws used a familiar backyard competition to create a direct route into the sport’s premier event.
