CrossFit Games team field nears lock after semifinals leaderboard review

CrossFit Body Blueprint sat on top of the unofficial team leaderboard with 36 points, but the real story was the squeeze behind it. Only 11 points separated first from seventh, and with CrossFit still grinding through video review, the race for the last 2026 CrossFit Games spots looked far from closed even as the field edged toward lock.

Solidarity CrossFit Basecamp stood second with 40 points, followed by Q21 CrossFit at 42, CrossFit 1124 at 43, CrossFit Reykjavík at 45, CrossFit Fort Vancouver at 46 and AR-1 CrossFit at 47. That gave the current top seven a narrow cushion, while teams sitting just outside the cut line, including Blueprint CrossFit Team AOD, CrossFit Caen and CrossFit Noble Defender, remained close enough to move if review changed the math. In a leaderboard this tight, a handful of penalties or score corrections can flip the entire picture.

The public review numbers showed why nothing had been safe yet. One analysis of the top 31 teams drew 1,103 votes, and 66 percent of them were marked Needs Review. Only one of the top seven teams had more Good votes than Needs Review votes, and that was Solidarity CrossFit Basecamp. That is the kind of split that tells you the board is not just unsettled, it is being actively rewritten.

The timing matters because these seven online qualifiers are the final pieces of a 20-team Games roster. CrossFit said the Team Online Semifinals ran June 4-8, with all scores due by Monday, June 8 at noon PT, and the leaderboard set to be final no later than June 22. The 2026 CrossFit Games will run July 24-26 at SAP Center in San Jose, California, and this season marks the 20th edition of the Games, a milestone that gives every review ruling extra weight.

The process was also built to be policed hard. Teams needed both a Head Judge and a Floor Judge who held a Level 1 Certificate or higher and the Advanced Judges Course, and all teams who completed the Open were eligible for the online semifinals. With in-person team spots already handed out through events such as Copa Sur in São José, Santa Catarina, Brazil, Far East Throwdown in Busan, South Korea, French Throwdown in Paris and Torian Pro in Brisbane, Queensland, the online board is now the last major gatekeeper. Once CrossFit closes the review and publishes the final order, the championship field will finally have its shape.
