Pēteris Ozoliņš, Alexander Prokhorov, Tristan Twine and Nauryzbek Yessetov were the names that changed the Falcon Cup picture as Drone Champions League turned Draft Selection 2026 into four new roster moves on April 22. Ozoliņš, known as Peteris.FPV, joined Vexcel Spain Drone Team; Prokhorov, listed as memory, went to Raiden Racing; Twine, who races as JuicyFlick, landed with the DCL Wildcard Team; and Yessetov, Na7kaBro, was selected by Aspan.

The immediate effect is uneven, and that is what makes the draft matter. Raiden Racing already owned the 2025 DCL Championship and the 2025 Falcon Cup Finals, so Prokhorov gives the sport’s reigning standard-bearer another layer rather than a rescue mission. DCL Wildcard Team also entered the draft with momentum after advancing from the Falcon Cup Seeding Race to the live finals in Riyadh, and Twine now gives that group another chance to build on a roster that has already proven it can handle pressure on the biggest stage.

The bigger swing may belong to Vexcel Spain Drone Team and Aspan. Spain Drone Team finished among the top three in the virtual Falcon Cup Seeding Race and qualified for Riyadh, which means Ozoliņš arrives in a Spanish-linked system that has already shown it can convert speed into results. Aspan, by contrast, gets a fresh competitive identity from Yessetov, and in a league where simulator form can quickly become live-team value, that kind of addition can matter fast.

DCL’s draft process is built to do exactly that. The league says Draft Selection 2026 is designed to identify rising talent, move strong individual performers into team competition and keep its progression system active across a season that includes the Falcon Cup, Eagle Cup, Hawk Cup and one Super Final. Registration ran from March 9 to March 19, and the 48-hour Draft Event ran March 21-22 on a new track in DCL - The Game across PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

That structure ties every roster decision to a wider race calendar already in motion. The Falcon Cup Seeding Race opened the 2026 season virtually on January 19 before the live finals in Riyadh on January 29 during the Drones Hub Opening hosted by Tuwaiq Academy. Spain Drone Team, Raiden Racing and DCL Wildcard Team advanced from that opening round, while more than 2,500 fans watched the 2025 Falcon Cup Finals in Abu Dhabi and Raiden Racing later sealed the 2025 championship at Königssee on December 19.

For fans tracking the 2026 balance of power, Prokhorov to Raiden Racing is the safest bet to pay off immediately. But the most interesting roster shift may be Ozoliņš and Yessetov, because those are the selections that can change how quickly Vexcel Spain Drone Team and Aspan turn draft promise into live-race points.
