Twelve sacks, 17 tackles for loss and four forced fumbles in a single season is the kind of résumé that generates offers in bunches. Keith "Terminator" Richmond, a three-star defensive lineman rated by 247Sports, added Alabama A&M to a growing list this week after a conversation with the Bulldogs' Director of Recruiting and Scouting, Bradley Ball.

"I had a great conversation with Coach Ball, who offered me," Richmond said. "My recruitment is going very well, as I am blessed with 22 offers now." That offer count reflects just how productive the 2025 season was for Richmond. He posted 62 tackles, 20 quarterback hurries, 17 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, four forced fumbles, and a pass breakup for the Cougars. His offer sheet now includes Eastern Kentucky, East Tennessee State, Southern Miss, Appalachian State, Western Kentucky, Liberty, Georgia State, Tennessee State, Tulane, Troy, Arkansas State, Middle Tennessee, Kennesaw State, South Alabama, Missouri State, Georgia Southern, Samford, and Alabama State, among others.

Alabama A&M was not alone in making noise on the recruiting trail. Texas Southern extended offers to a pair of defensive backs this week. Carson Wilson received his latest offer from Texas Southern after speaking with Derwin Wilson. The connection ran deeper than a cold call: "Coach Wilson hit me up, and the conversation went great. He's actually very well connected with my current cornerback coach; they coached together a couple of years ago," Wilson said. Wilson already holds offers from UTSA, Sacramento State, Arkansas State, UTEP, Jackson State, and North Dakota. Logan Davis, another 2027 defensive back target, also announced an offer from the Tigers program on March 23.

While SWAC programs were busy extending offers, the Patriot League and MEAC were working the junior day circuit. Raph Bonfoh attended the Richmond Junior Day on Saturday, where he met with head coach Russ Huesman, cornerbacks coach and defensive recruiting coordinator Jameson Zacharias, and defensive ends coach Chris Ellis. Bonfoh left Richmond with his second offer.

Howard opened its doors on the same weekend. A prospect named Graham, who attended Junior Day at Howard, received an offer from the Bison after meeting with wide receivers coach Erik Frazier. "Coach Frazier and I talked after practice, and then I was offered. I also talked to Coach Cruz, assistant wide receiver coach Elijah Cruz. He was a cool and great coach who played there, so it opened my eyes even more," Graham said. The production backed the interest: Graham had a stellar 2025 season at Bell High School in Washington, DC, hauling in 25 receptions for 523 yards and six touchdowns.

With recruits going to spring practice and junior days, offers are going out fast across the FCS landscape. For programs like Alabama A&M and Texas Southern, spring is the window to build momentum before the summer evaluation period intensifies and Power 4 schools shift their full attention to the same prospect pools.
