Mill Ridge Farm announced that Casa Creed has been represented by his first reported foal, a filly bred by Carlos Cleto and foaled Jan. 23, 2026 out of the stakes-placed mare Sustainable (Forestry). The arrival marks a key moment for a stallion whose on-track durability and Grade 1 résumé raised expectations for his first crop.

“You can see from this photo an outstanding foal,” Carlos Cleto said, praising the newborn. Cleto added perspective on the sire’s appeals, noting that “Casa Creed was an 'iron horse' who won four Grade I's and showed up every race. A very exciting stallion.” The foal photo circulated with the announcement carries a Mill Ridge credit.

Casa Creed retired to stud after a long, lucrative turf career under Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott. The son of Jimmy Creed compiled a 9-5-6 record from 36 starts and earned $2,691,308 while campaigning from age 2 through 8. His list of top-level victories includes four Grade 1s, including back-to-back Jaipur Stakes wins in 2021 and 2022 and consecutive Fourstardave Handicap triumphs that culminated with his latest G1 score at Saratoga. He claimed his first graded stakes in the 2019 National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes (G2T) in his 11th start and went on to contest the Breeders’ Cup World Championships across four years, finishing third in the 2023 Breeders’ Cup Mile.

Casa Creed stands near Lexington, Kentucky at Mill Ridge Farm for an advertised fee of $8,500; some listings specify $8,500 LF (live foal). The stallion is enrolled in the Ride Together Incentive Program, which states, “the registered breeder of a live foal earns a free season if the offspring wins a straight maiden race as a 2-or 3-year-old.” That program feature gives breeders an additional commercial bridge from foaling to potential breeding-value upside.

For breeders and buyers, the filly’s arrival underscores several industry trends. Breeders prize stallions with durability and high-level turf form, and Casa Creed’s lengthy career and multiple G1 victories position him as an attractive, relatively affordable option for those targeting turf stakes. The modest fee and incentive program broaden access for smaller breeders who might otherwise avoid first-crop risk, while the pedigree cross with Sustainable, a black-type mare by Forestry, adds marketable maternal credentials.

The immediate watchlist now shifts to growth benchmarks and future placement decisions. Will the filly be retained for racing, pointed to sales, or returned to Mill Ridge partnerships? If she performs well as a juvenile, Carlos Cleto could secure added recognition and the Ride Together reward. For racing fans and breeders, Casa Creed’s debut foal is the first tangible sign of how his influence may take shape in the sales ring and on the turf in seasons to come.
