Fasig-Tipton March Digital Sale Gains Englishman Half-Sister Supplemented Late
Englishman's 7½-length romp at Fair Grounds sent his half-sister Fee straight to the Fasig-Tipton March Digital Sale block, with bidding closing today.

Fee, a six-year-old daughter of six-time leading sire Into Mischief and a half-sister to undefeated TDN Rising Star Englishman, was supplemented to the Fasig-Tipton March Digital Sale as Hip 191 after her half-brother's dominant performance at Fair Grounds sharpened the market's attention on the family. Wasabi Ventures Sales LLC consigned her, and bidding, which opened March 19, closes Tuesday, March 24.
Fee, a six-year-old daughter of Into Mischief, is consigned by Wasabi Ventures Sales LLC, agent, and earned $153,764 on the racetrack. She is offered in foal to Mindframe, Constitution's multiple Grade 1-winning son, on a February 26 cover. Mindframe, who entered stud in 2026, established himself as one of the most imposing figures in the handicap division last year, highlighted by a statement victory in the Stephen Foster Stakes (G1) at Churchill Downs, where he bested Eclipse Award winner Sierra Leone, Kentucky Derby winner Mystik Dan, and Dubai World Cup winner Hit Show.
The timing of the supplement was no coincidence. Englishman, a TDN Rising Star, remained unbeaten following a 7½-length allowance victory at Fair Grounds on Thursday, stopping the clock in 1:08.76 under a hand ride. The three-year-old earned Beyer Speed Figures of 97 and 95 in his first two career starts. His final time of 1:08.76 is the best for a three-year-old going six furlongs at Fair Grounds since at least 1991, and only the third time since 1991 that a three-year-old has gone six furlongs in less than 1:09.
Trainer Cherie DeVaux said after the race that C R K Stable's undefeated Maxfield colt would target the Grade 2 Pat Day Mile on Kentucky Derby day at Churchill Downs. That next anticipated start will be the Pat Day Stakes (G2) on Kentucky Derby day, May 2, according to his connections.
Fasig-Tipton moved quickly to capitalize. "Fee is an exciting addition to the sale off of Englishman's monster performance Thursday," said Leif Aaron, Fasig-Tipton Director of Digital Sales. "Do not miss the many high-profile entries that we've received in the last week and are catalogued near the end of the sale. The last ten hips are loaded with six-figure horses coming off impressive wins, as well as broodmare prospects from live families with potential major updates on the horizon."
Fee is far from the only headline act near the tail end of the catalogue. Other prominent later hips include Tiz a Ten I See (Hip 185), a three-year-old daughter of Tiz the Law who has won her two most recent starts including a six-length score last out; Sutura (Hip 187), a three-year-old daughter of Vekoma who has finished second in both of her career starts and is pointed toward a maiden in Kentucky next; and Feasible (Hip 188), a four-year-old also catalogued among the closing hips.
