Fasig-Tipton Opens 2026 February Digital Sale with 260 Lots

Fasig-Tipton opened its 2026 February Digital Sale on Feb. 19, cataloguing 260 offerings for an online auction that runs Feb. 19–24 and will close Tuesday, Feb. 24, beginning at 2:00 p.m. ET. The sale is conducted entirely online and bidding is already under way on Fasig‑Tipton’s digital platform.

Fasig‑Tipton Director of Digital Sales Leif Aaron framed the catalogue’s balance and depth in the company press release: “The February Digital Sale catalogue features 260 horses, led by especially strong contingents of racing and breeding stock. Offerings include stakes winners and producers, more than 70 horses of racing age, over 140 broodmares and broodmare prospects – including mares with foals at foot – and 34 ‘short’ yearlings. We started the year off with a bang in January and we’re looking forward to helping our customers achieve continued success in February.”

Buyers may view the full digital catalogue and must create an account on Fasig‑Tipton’s online bidding platform to register and place bids; bidding opened Feb. 19 and will conclude on Feb. 24 beginning at 2:00 p.m. ET. Paynterbynumbers appears as hip 3, listed as the dam of multiple‑stakes winner Counting Stars (by Honor A.P.) with Mill Ridge Sales handling the consignment. Miss Tapirado is hip 37, notable for selling for $775,000 as a weanling and later $1.3 million as a 2‑year‑old in‑training purchase and for being a full sister to graded‑stakes‑placed Bourbon War and two stakes performers in Australia.

Consignors and dispersal lots add inventory diversity: stock from the California and New Mexico operations of Kirk and Judy Robison is consigned by Arroyo Vista Farm and A & A Thoroughbreds, reductions continue for Starship Stables with Taylor Made Sales Agency as agent, and dispersals of repossessed horses are represented with Mill Ridge Sales and Margaux Farm as agents.
