NYRA Launches Belmont Park Membership for Reserved Boxes Ahead of September Reopening
NYRA announced Feb. 18 a Belmont Park membership that is included with the purchase of annual reserved box seating as the redeveloped track prepares to re-open in September 2026.

The New York Racing Association announced on Feb. 18, 2026 the launch of a Belmont Park membership program tied to annual reserved box seating as Belmont Park prepares to re-open in September 2026. Memberships are included with the purchase of annual reserved box seating, which NYRA said are "available in various sizes and locations to accommodate parties of four or more," and the organization urged that "early commitments are strongly encouraged to secure a Belmont Park membership."
NYRA framed the offering as a hospitality product that layers clubhouse-style amenities on top of traditional box seats. In NYRA's press text the program is "Created to provide guests with an elevated race day experience," combining box-seat ambience with benefits including access to The Overlook, "complimentary F&B options, preferred parking, priority entrances and personalized concierge services." NYRA's marketing push on social media emphasized benefits such as "Unlimited Lounge Access," "Select Complimentary Dining," "Annual Membership Credit" and "Preferred Parking and Private Entrance" in a Facebook post promoting priority membership access.
The Overlook is the membership program's signature amenity. NYRA described it in press materials as "Located on Belmont’s second floor just steps from the box seat area," a "year-round dining and social space providing expansive sightlines of the finish line and paddock area, and a centralized bar complete with comfortable lounge seating." The press copy also notes that "The Overlook, which features balconies on both the track and paddock side, will offer flexible entertainment options for members and guests."
Operational details in the announcement contained some raw fragments and omissions. The materials include an unexplained inventory fragment, "Bel 25 Box Seats 2 (1)," and NYRA's sales call to action ends with "please visit" followed by no URL in the supplied copy. The press text repeats that the membership is "included with the purchase of annual reserved box seating" and positions the product for "individuals, groups and corporate clients," but it does not provide pricing, seat-count totals, or exact sales links in the released text.

The timing of the membership rollout is calibrated to a larger racing calendar. NYRA confirmed the Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets will return to Belmont Park in 2027 and that Belmont has been selected to host the 2027 Breeders’ Cup World Championships, "the first edition of the Breeders’ Cup to be held in New York State since 2005." The Populous rendering used with NYRA materials is credited "The new Belmont Park | courtesy Populous."
NYRA’s announcement frames the box-seat membership as a turnkey hospitality product ahead of a September 2026 reopening and two marquee events in 2027. The press materials provide specific amenity promises and location details for The Overlook, but omit pricing, full inventory counts, and the sales URL, leaving key commercial terms to be published by NYRA as the reopening approaches.
