Starship Beauty flash sale spotlights Derby family and broodmare value
Starship Beauty’s flash sale lands as Fulleffort heads to the Derby, giving this mare’s page immediate market heat and broodmare appeal.

Starship Beauty is trading on more than condition or catalog timing. Fasig-Tipton Digital has opened bidding on the young mare in foal to Constitution for her first foal, and the sell sheet reads like a Derby-season market memo: she is a half-sister to Kentucky Derby hopeful Fulleffort and Grade 1 winner Power Squeeze, with Taylor Made Sales Agency handling the consignment.
The urgency is real because Fulleffort has already punched his ticket to Churchill Downs. He won the Grade 3 Jeff Ruby Steaks on March 21 at Turfway Park, earning enough Kentucky Derby points to secure a place in the 2026 field. That matters in the sales ring because a live Derby runner can lift the profile of an entire family overnight, turning a mare page into a moving target for buyers chasing pedigree momentum.
Starship Beauty’s female line gives that momentum substance. Power Squeeze sold for $2.5 million at Fasig-Tipton’s November Sale in 2025, and Godolphin bought her as a broodmare prospect after her own graded-stakes career. Another half-sibling, Call On Mischief, is a stakes winner with four victories and $283,237 in earnings, and Keeneland’s September 2025 catalog notes that Call On Mischief has already produced a Flightline filly named Aviatrix. For buyers, that is not just family history, it is a family that keeps converting into live runners and sale-ring value.
The mating adds another layer. Fasig-Tipton’s sale page says Starship Beauty’s foal is bred on the same Constitution cross as Webslinger and Patriot Spirit, both names that carry their own commercial weight. Leif Aaron called the pedigree “phenomenal” and said Starship Beauty is in foal to “the right sire.” That language captures the kind of pitch that can push a flash sale beyond simple broodmare shopping, because the buyer is not only taking a mare in foal, but also buying into a family that is active on the track and proven in the ring.
The timing sharpens that proposition further. Fasig-Tipton’s May Digital Sale is set for May 7 through May 12, and nominations close April 27. In a spring market shaped by the Derby trail, Starship Beauty sits at the intersection of three forces that can drive price action fast: a current Derby contender in Fulleffort, a $2.5 million sister in Power Squeeze, and a first foal by Constitution that gives the mare immediate residual broodmare value if the bidding stops short of speculative heat.
