Tattersalls published the catalogue for its 2026 Guineas Breeze-Up and Horses in Training Sale, with 201 two-year-olds set to go under the hammer at Park Paddocks, Newmarket on April 29-30 and a track record of 43 individual Group or Listed performers since 2023 making a compelling case for buyer attention.

The two-year-olds will breeze at Newmarket's Rowley Mile Racecourse on Wednesday, April 29, starting at 9.00am. The Horses in Training section, comprising 151 lots, then kicks off Thursday, April 30 at 9.30am, with the Guineas Breeze-Up lots sold immediately after.

Tattersalls Managing Director Matthew Prior pointed directly to recent graduate results as evidence of the sale's standing. "The Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-Up Sale has delivered a remarkable 43 individual Group/Listed performers since 2023 which is ample evidence of the great value to be found," he said. "This year's catalogue looks to have plenty of quality and diversity which will appeal to the usual cross section of domestic and international buyers who frequent Park Paddocks. The catalogue also features 151 horses in training which only adds to the appeal of this unique fixture ahead of Guineas weekend in Newmarket."

Owners and trainers chasing incentive premiums are well served across the catalogue. Eighteen fillies carry registration for the Great British Bonus Scheme, nine two-year-olds are qualified for French Owners' Premiums, and 36 juveniles are entered in the 2026 Swedish Derby and Oaks Series. Two lots are entered in the £200,000 Tattersalls Somerville Auction Stakes and one in the £200,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes, broadening the international and domestic appeal of the book.

Among the headline pedigrees in the breeze-up section, a Blackbeard half-brother to GII Sands Point Stakes heroine Eternal Hope catches the eye. Lot 163 is a Torquator Tasso half-sister to Aftermath, the G2 Champagne Stakes-placed Justify colt whose dam, Flying, is a Galileo mare and a full-sister to Group 1 winners Misty For Me and Ballydoyle. Lot 181 brings a Starspangledbanner half-brother to G3 Leopardstown 2,000 Guineas Trial winner Battle Cry, by No Nay Never, while lot 264 is a St Mark's Basilica half-brother to Miss Amulet, the G2 Lowther Stakes heroine by Sir Prancealot.

The Horses in Training section has drawn the three largest consignments from Consign Ltd with 23 lots, Jamie Railton with 22 lots including a partial dispersal of nine horses from Jim & Claire Ltd, and Castlebridge Consignment with 20 lots. Juddmonte, Godolphin and Shadwell have catalogued 11, four and three lots respectively, with the Juddmonte draft carrying particular depth among unraced three-year-old colts. That group includes Summons, a Sea The Stars colt out of Grade 1 Matriarch Stakes winner Viadera; Inform, an Oasis Dream colt out of Group 1 Prix Jean Romanet winner Announce; and Sarpedon, a Kingman own-brother to Royal Ascot winner and Group 1 Dewhurst Stakes fourth Sangarius.

The catalogue is available now at tattersalls.com, with printed copies available from Tattersalls and its overseas representatives from Thursday, April 2.
