West Coast Parkour Championships announces California jam series for July

West Coast Parkour Championships turned July into a three-stop California circuit, lining up jams in Elk Grove, Folsom and Santa Cruz instead of packaging the month around one isolated meet. The schedule gave the series a clear west-to-southwest rhythm, with early action in the Sacramento area before a July 17-19 weekend in Santa Cruz.

The first stop ran July 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Laguna Town Hall in Elk Grove, with one listing placing the venue at 3020 Renwick Avenue, Elk Grove, CA 95758. That opening date put the series squarely in Northern California parkour territory and gave local traceurs a morning session built around the jam format, where athletes gather to train, move and put lines together in public view rather than in a tightly scripted arena.

The run continued July 12 in Folsom, where one schedule listing named South Office Parks at 10 a.m. That middle stop kept the circuit close to the Sacramento region and made the month read like a progression from one city to the next, with athletes able to stack sessions, compare runs and keep building through the middle of the summer. The jam format also fits parkour’s competitive flow, since it lets athletes test speed, balance and precision without waiting for a single championship weekend.

Santa Cruz was listed for July 17-19 and served as the anchor of the slate. The longer weekend makes that stop feel more like the central gathering point of the month, the place where the circuit can pull in athletes from farther up and down the West Coast. West Coast PK Championships’ Instagram bio says the group is "Moving to unite the west coast parkour community," and its Facebook page describes a "Season of Parkour Competitions spanning multiple competitions and Parkour Gyms." That page also says each competition hosts three events: Speed, Skill and a third event not fully visible in the snippet.

The organization’s Instagram account showed 1,729 followers and 533 following, a sign that the series already has an established audience behind it. The presence of a 2026 USPK West Coast Region competition page adds another layer to the calendar, showing how jam-style gatherings like Elk Grove, Folsom and Santa Cruz sit alongside a more formal regional pathway.
