Arjun and Aditya Singh Clinch U-18 Gold at APP Kuala Lumpur Open
Mumbai brothers Arjun and Aditya Singh beat Vietnam’s Pham Hoai Anh and Huynh Nguyen Duc Phat 11-4, 11-10 to win the U-18 boys doubles at the APP Kuala Lumpur Open on February 14 in Malaysia.

Mumbai brothers Arjun Singh and Aditya Singh captured the Under-18 boys doubles gold at the APP Kuala Lumpur Open in Kuala Lumpur, defeating Vietnam’s Pham Hoai Anh and Huynh Nguyen Duc Phat in straight games, 11-4, 11-10, on February 14.
The final opened with a one-sided first game as Arjun and Aditya raced to an 11-4 win. The second game tightened dramatically, but the Singh pair held their nerve to edge Anh and Nguyen 11-10 and seal the championship without dropping a game in the final.
The victory is the brothers’ first major international junior title and is being cast as a milestone for Indian youth on the APP stage. The win at the tournament’s junior weekend has been described as cementing India’s rise in the youth ranks on the APP circuit and puts the Mumbai-based duo into the spotlight among emerging players from the region.
Both players come to Kuala Lumpur with domestic exposure from the Indian Pickleball League 2025 in New Delhi. Arjun and Aditya were drafted by the Bengaluru Blasters for the IPL 2025 season, where they gained match experience alongside established professionals that they said helped prepare them for international competition.

After the final the brothers set a clear target for their next career steps, declaring "Goal is to Win the Open Pro Category." Their stated plan is to pursue consistent appearances on global circuits, including the PPA Tour and the APP Tour, treating the U-18 gold as a stepping stone toward competing at Open-level events.
A social post from the pair’s account captured the moment: the Instagram caption read, "Golden Boys, the Golden Brothers Arjun and Aditya who recently backed the gold medal under 18 category at the APP Kuala Lumpur Tour. Yeah." The players’ Instagram handle is credited on the victory photo as @adityasingh0721.
With this international junior title in hand, Arjun and Aditya shift focus to transitioning from junior success to the Open stage, aiming to convert the experience gained in New Delhi and Kuala Lumpur into regular starts on the PPA and APP circuits. Their immediate season plan, as stated, targets Open-pro competition and more appearances against higher-ranked international pairs.
