Sparq Designs and Kip Hunter Marketing merge into integrated agency
Sparq Designs and Kip Hunter Marketing joined forces to sell one integrated stack, from SEO and GEO to PR, media and events, across Pittsburgh, South Florida and nationwide.

Sparq Designs and Kip Hunter Marketing have merged to build a single agency platform aimed at clients that want fewer vendors and more of the marketing stack under one roof. Announced April 14, 2026, the deal brings together Sparq’s Pittsburgh base and Kip Hunter Marketing’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida, footprint into one integrated marketing and public relations company serving Pittsburgh, South Florida and national accounts.
The combination is built around breadth. Sparq describes itself as a Pittsburgh-based full-service marketing agency with work spanning strategic planning, branding, performance marketing, website design, experiential campaigns and search engine optimization. Kip Hunter Marketing, founded in 2007, brings brand marketing, advertising, public relations, social media, creative design and special events. Together, the firms are trying to cover the full client journey, from early brand positioning to ongoing media execution and live-event activation.
That matters because the merger is not just about size, but about packageable capability. Sparq says the new structure expands its toolkit to include SEO and GEO optimization alongside performance advertising, social media, email marketing, video production, experiential work and media buying. In practice, that points to a model where search, creative, paid media and PR are no longer separate service lines but parts of the same account strategy. For clients managing healthcare, sports and entertainment, and consumer work, that kind of consolidation can simplify execution and make it easier to keep messaging aligned across channels.
The deal also fits a broader 2026 agency shift. Forrester has said agencies are being reshaped by automation, consolidation and creator-led strategies, a mix that is pushing firms to become broader marketing purveyors rather than single-purpose specialists. At the same time, GEO, also called answer engine optimization, is emerging as a live category in its own right, with Brandi AI emphasizing citations and recommendations inside AI answers rather than search rankings alone. SEOValley has said demand for AI visibility solutions is growing among U.S.-based B2B, SaaS, healthcare and professional services firms.
ANA programming for 2025 and 2026 has also put AI and technology at the center of industry conversation, underscoring why agencies like Sparq and Kip Hunter Marketing are widening their offering now. The merger gives them a larger platform for cross-market accounts, but it also raises the same question facing many consolidators: whether integration will create a true growth advantage, or simply add more moving parts to manage.
