Lalo Launches $120 Wipeable Changing Pad Targeting Baby Shower Registries
Lalo's $119.99 Wipeable Changing Pad sold out on its own site at launch, pushing buyers to Target and Babylist to find stock.

Lalo, the direct-to-consumer baby and toddler brand, introduced a Wipeable Changing Pad priced at $119.99, positioning it squarely as a baby shower gift and registry staple. The pad sold out on Lalo's own site shortly after listing, leaving Target and Babylist as the primary purchase options for interested buyers.
The product is a 31.1 x 17 x 4.5 inch foam pad weighing 6.2 pounds, built around a non-absorbent, antimicrobial wipe-down surface and slip-resistant feet. Lalo constructed it from non-toxic PU foam free from BPA, PVC, PFAS, and phthalates, with a melamine base. The brand states all its products meet and exceed ASTM safety standards and are Prop 65 compliant, though no specific ASTM protocol numbers or third-party lab certifications were provided alongside the launch details.
Cleaning is straightforward by design: a wet sponge and mild dish soap wipe the surface clean, which is the practical pitch that separates this from traditional fabric-covered pads that absorb messes and require washing or liner changes. The pad is rated for use from 0 months up.
The $119.99 price point lands at the premium end of the changing pad market. Lalo leaned into that positioning by integrating the product directly into its Gift and Registry section, which includes a gift-message tool that lets buyers schedule delivery of a digital message by order completion, selected date and time, or delivery of the physical shipment.

The sold-out status on Lalo's site at launch is consistent with inventory patterns visible across other products in the brand's lineup. The Play Kitchen carried an "In Backorder" flag, while the Play Gym II and the Ribbed Hooded Towel showed "Out of Stock" notices across multiple colorways. Whether those supply constraints reflect demand outpacing stock or tighter production runs is not something Lalo addressed publicly at launch.
For anyone shopping the pad now, Target and Babylist are the confirmed retail channels, though Lalo has not disclosed whether pricing at those retailers matches its own $119.99 list price.
