Tippecanoe County Health Department Opens Registration for 2026 Community Baby Shower

The Tippecanoe County Health Department has opened registration for its 2026 Community Baby Shower, an annual spring event connecting new and expecting parents with health education, community resources, and free baby items. Registration closes March 26 at 4 p.m. or sooner if the event reaches capacity.

Scheduled for Thursday, April 2, the event offers health and safety education, community resources, baby item giveaways, and raffles. Everyone who registers will also receive a gift card from Arnis at the event, according to WLFI News 18.

The health department describes its core mission for the event plainly: "The goal is to connect families to health and safety education, community resources, and free baby items." The annual baby shower has been a recurring fixture each spring, with the county site maintaining banners and imagery from both the 2024 and 2025 editions.

A 2026 Community Pregnancy Support Group is also listed under the department's classes and monthly groups, with an interest form available for those who want to get involved beyond the April event.

"We couldn't do this without generous sponsorships and volunteers from our community," the county's event page states.
