NonStop Gym 24h expands in Barcelona province with two new clubs

NonStop Gym 24h is opening two new clubs in Lliçà d’Amunt and Arenys de Mar in 2026, lifting the chain from three sites to five and putting more than 1.1 million euros into a deeper push through Barcelona province. Each gym will measure 950 square meters, a clear step up from a lightweight neighborhood box and a sign that the brand wants enough floor space for a broader training mix and a real membership base.

The timing is already set. The Lliçà d’Amunt club is due in the first week of October, and Arenys de Mar should follow in the first week of November. The two openings are aimed straight at commuter-belt towns where convenience beats polish, and where low-cost, 24-hour operators can win on access, parking and predictable pricing rather than premium amenities. Lliçà d’Amunt will go up on Carrer Indústria next to a public car park, while Arenys de Mar will sit on Carrer Joan Draper i Fossas with a private parking area of 1,100 square meters.

That parking detail is not cosmetic. It is the kind of hard-edged real-estate choice that decides whether a 24/7 gym catches workers on the way home or gets buried by friction. NonStop Gym 24h is keeping its formula intact, with functional training, classes, a Hyrox zone and Trainingym technology supporting access, data and management. In a market around Barcelona that is already crowded with HYROX-oriented and round-the-clock fitness options, the brand is betting that suburban demand for that hybrid model is still under-served.

The spending has also grown with the ambition. Earlier plans had put the two 2026 openings at 600,000 euros, but the budget has now climbed because the clubs are larger than first expected and the fit-out, equipment and parking solutions are more ambitious. The company closed 2025 with about 1.2 million euros in revenue and said it was operating at roughly a 40% EBITDA margin when it had three clubs, a base that helps explain why management is now targeting more than 6,000 members by the end of 2026, up from about 3,500.

Founded by Carles Blanco Villar and Josep Sesé Valverde, NonStop Gym 24h currently operates in Olesa de Montserrat, Abrera and Pallejà. The longer-term goal is around 15 centers within three to five years, and these two new sites show exactly where the next fight is being waged: not in central Barcelona, but in the surrounding towns where low-friction access and late-night availability can still move the market.
