Teen Suspect Allegedly Jumps on Car at Lansdale McDonald's, Faces Charges
A 19-year-old allegedly jumped on a car and robbed a woman in the parking lot of the Lansdale McDonald's on Welsh Road Sunday.

A 19-year-old man faces robbery and assault charges after he allegedly jumped on a car and attacked a female driver in the parking lot of the McDonald's at 1200 Welsh Road in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, on March 16.
Elijah Maurice Wright was charged following the incident, which unfolded in the parking lot of the Welsh Road location in Montgomery County. According to a criminal complaint, Wright allegedly jumped on the victim's vehicle during the confrontation. The woman drove out of the parking lot with Wright still on the car before the situation was resolved.
Montgomery Township Police and Hatfield authorities responded to the incident and pursued charges against Wright. The criminal complaint details both robbery and assault allegations stemming from the encounter.

The Welsh Road McDonald's sits in a commercial stretch of Lansdale that draws steady traffic throughout the day. Parking lot incidents at fast food locations are not uncommon across the industry, but an alleged robbery involving a suspect climbing onto a moving vehicle marks an unusually aggressive escalation.
Wright, 19, now faces the charges filed in connection with the March 16 incident. The case is moving through the Montgomery County legal system following his charging.
