A 2025 filing put Pizza Hut at roughly 20,000 locations worldwide and about 6,400 in the U.S. Pizza Hut’s own WARN history is not small either: WARNTracker says the chain filed 69 layoff notices from May 2008 through February 2024 in California, Kansas, Maine and Nebraska, affecting 555 workers. For crews watching store traffic slow and hours shrink, the closure plan is not abstract. It is the moment to check whether the law requires notice before the lights go out.
