Nike is bringing the Vapor X Posite back with exactly the kind of weirdness streetwear likes when the market gets bored: a Foamposite-looking tennis shoe that rides on Vapor X tooling and is set to arrive in two late-summer 2026 colorways, one in Copper and the other in Metallic Orange. It is the sort of crossover that used to feel too niche to matter and now feels almost suspiciously well-timed.

The mechanics are the point. The Vapor X Posite uses the Vapor X tennis sole unit and borrows the molded, sculpted upper language from the Air Foamposite One, so this is not just a retro color swap on a performance runner. It is a tennis build with a hard shell attitude, the kind of glossy, armored shape that gives Foamposite its cult pull, but grounded on a court-ready base that Nike has already used for serious play.
