EOS and the American Center for Manufacturing & Innovation announced a partnership that puts next-generation additive manufacturing where it can be shared across multiple tenants, with ACMI acquiring the world’s first AMCM M 8K and the EOS M4 ONYX as initial hardware buys. The addition of systems like the AMCM M 8K and the EOS M4 ONYX into ACMI’s campuses give the U.S. industry access to capabilities that were previously out of reach, and we’re proud to support this mission to strengthen domestic manufacturing and national security.”

ACMI will place the EOS systems into its multi-tenant industrial campus network so tenants can access metal AM capacity, process engineering, and training without each operator having to buy and qualify large-frame equipment themselves. ACMI is described as an industrial firm catalyzing innovation in manufacturing and scaled production and uses a private-public financing approach to develop large-scale production ecosystems. EOS provides hardware, software, materials, and Additive Minds engineering and process expertise.
